After 2 months working offline, We are finally back with our new tutorial. Today we are going to make Parrot Tulips with 180g Crepe Paper. I am going to show you how to colour the tulips in 5 different colour combinations ! We will teach you step by step so you can make it even you are a beginner.

What you need
Crepe papers in 180g Yellow, White, Olive Green, Leaf Green & Purple
Acrylic paints in Yellow, Green, Purple, Red & Magenta
Floral wire in 20 & 26 gauge
a pair of flat pliers and wire cutter
a pair of Tweezers
a pair of scissors
Paper clips
Paintbrush

Hi you make it look so easy to produce these beautiful flowers Thank you for all the help and inspiration. I have a question regarding the 180 paper. Is there anything to be done about the roller marks? They do spoil the illusion somewhat. Can they be smoothed out? Many thanks xx

Hi there. I am afraid I cant figure that out myself. However I think the paper company has made some adjustment. The latest rolls I have received don’t have them anymore ! Great news

I’m having a terrible time watercoloring on the 180g paper. Even 90 isn’t great. Is there a reason you wouldn’t use duplette?
