Nothing but warm memories with this song. I found five cassette tapes of my uncle and his Bluegrass band. I made them digital and now play right along with him.
This is one of my favorite bluegrass songs. I think I’ve listened to every recorded version out there, and scores of live versions. But I have to say, Mr Hicks banjo break here is the prettiest I’ve heard. Well done!
Grew up doing this with family and neighbors. Now I can hardly make a chord because of nerve damage. I truly miss it. But so good to hear you guys and gals keeping up the tradition that made our kind of music so great. Thank you.
Minus having to look at an Auburn shirt, this was MIGHTY fine! 😉 I'm newly obsessed with bluegrass. Been playing rock blues and old country most of my Life but my goal now is to pick bluegrass til my last breath! Was raised on bluegrass and was young and "smarter" back then and found my own way, but it's funny how age will bring u back to your roots!
Well played and very enjoyable. Excellent harmonies aided by the unmentioned Charli. Good to know that there is no shortage of young talent in bluegrass music
One of my favorite tunes! Your version is second to Seldom Scene, which is a big compliment because they are a major influence on me. Thanks! I’ve learned much from it
Obviously everyone picks great here, but that bass imho, is exactly how a bass should sound and be played. Not busy, rock solid, sounds just right. What is that, a king mortone? Sounds great.
Im just now seeing this video,, this is one of my favorite blue grass songs if all time,, and i seriously hope in the last year that you've been able to check out other blue grass bands and songs,, there's one out there that will have you hooked i promise
Carlton Cupples no sir. It’s a late 50s 250 and the neck is an early 2000s frank Neat. I’m not sure what kind of ring is in it, but I don’t think it’s original.
the gal's harmony is GLORIOUS! And Lead could stand toe to toe with anyone!
No, it’s not.

Honestly, this is the best I have ever heard this great song presented. These guys need a contract.

This how our family was every weekend and now most has passed on so i don't play anymore but i am so proud to see tradition continue thanks y'all
This makes me miss going to jam session now. Thanks for reminding me what I’m missing in the bluegrass world!

He is mentioned in the description
@@gauntfa3610 Charli is a female one of the Robinson family along with Buddy and Kelsi. Their former group Flatt Lonesome was an excellent band.
Yeah, that’s her fiddle next to her. And she really knows what to do with it!
This song is only right with a gorgeous girl in the band like this one!

sweet, and i think u guys live not far from me.
Man, I'd love to learn the bass part to this
Get ahold of the chords, this should be a good one to learn by ear
What did the bass use to amp up
Does anybody know what the chords are for this version are ? The ones that come up on Google dont seem right.
Capo on 4th fret(key of b, for Bluegrass, of course) Chorus/solo: G D Am C / Am D C G Verse: C G D G/C G Amaj D / C G D G/C G D G
What size and brand is that upright bass?
What kind of equipment was used to record this?
Enka90fb just an iPhone. I use iMovie to edit the videos.
is that a 7/8 or is the bass player just tiny?
The Banjo that Josh is playing is a Scruggs Model ????

Hard to believe Manfred Mann had a hit with this. It was meant for bluegrass
You got the lyrics right! Woman tempted man down in paradise’s hole…
War eagle!¡!!!!!!!
WAR EAGLE!!!!!!!!
OMG she had to read the words??? Not committed to memory?
Reading the lyrics off a smart phone? Really?
Too much banjo. Drowns out everyone else.
i say ol chap you did one hell of a good job but you got one thing wrong,, she [ walked ] thru the corn not walks, walks is wrong,, its [ walked... ]
