- Sorry if the editing is bad. It's been a while since I've made a speedpaint. I'm kind of new to editing software too.
On April 16th, Steve Cash from the Talking Kitty cat series committed suicide. I've watched his videos since around 2011. I will really miss him and his cats.. When I found out, I just had to pay my respects. After I wept for two hours, of course.

We all know that he missed Gibson... I guess he just couldn't hold it in anymore. And Sylvester was funny too, just like Shelby...Gibson...Random Kitty...and Steve. We will be crying about it for a long time, forever if we want. Lets just all know Steve and Gibson won't leave our hearts, because they never left them.
I cried too, I don't know what to do with my life. Talking Kitty Cat was a big part of my Childhood and now it's ruined. We will all miss him and Gibson. R.I.P Steve Cash

To everyone who is coming back here, just remember that Steve is in a better and happier place now. He’s talking to Sylvester and Gibson in peace and having fun. His name will forever remain in our hearts, and he knows that. He passed knowing we loved him, and knowing we’d miss him. But that’s how life goes. You lose, miss, and repeat until you pass on. But during that cycle, many obstacles will swing your way, and you just have to make it past them to get to the best parts. Don’t give up. Steve loved and still loves us all.

I’m sitting here watching this, and I start crying. My mom asks “What’s wrong?” and I say “My favorite CZcamsr died.” She asked how. My only answer was “Suicide...” I then said “This video I just watched reminds me of how bad some other people have it and reminds me of everyone we have lost...” I’m rewatching this a few hours latter and I’m laying in bed crying.... Talking kitty was my childhood, and I revisited the channel a little bit after it happened, only to find that Steve was gone, it hurts even more knowing how it happened. I was at a friend’s house when I found out and couldn’t explain why I was crying. I can’t believe it’s been nearly 2 years. This drawing is beautiful, wonderful way to honor him. Hope he, Gibson, and Sylvester are resting easy, they’ll all be forever missed in this Scary, Scary world ♥︎

I started bawling my eyes out when the first song popped on... I thought that I could finally watch tribute videos my own included with dry eyes now but this I’m pretty sure my mom heard me over the Storm that’s here... I miss him so much I still can’t believe he’s gone

I just now found out about this.
I never knew him personally, but his videos were something. That summer I’d stay with my one grandma while my mom was working, I’d found him and binged his videos.
I hate to admit it, but I’d forgotten about him for a while.
Then I found him again! Just last year.
And now he’s gone again, and won’t come back this time.

I hope his family is well, and I hope wherever he is, he’s happy.

I’ve been struggling with depression for a while now and whenever he posted I would just be so happy. His videos always made my day no matter how bad it was.
When I heard he died and *killed* himself. I broke. I felt terrible that he had been struggling with depression and felt like he had nothing. So he killed himself.
I cried while watching this. It was so adorable and sad and heart warming.
I just want to say, I do too at a young age. I dont wanna die, but I just wanna be alone sometimes. Being in my own world, and doing what i want. A place of no problems. I hope you will start doing well soon :) 💜

Omg…I was literally crying at the end when you were writing the dialogue between them… i got a black cat about 2 years ago and she used to watch this with me I think her favorite was Sylvester and soon after their passing my cat(Jynxx) had 7 black kittens and one gray one and I named the smallest but feistiest, Sylvester but my mom wouldn’t let me keep him but it still hurts…

Sylvester himself died from old age in the same year on December 10, nearly eight months after Steve's death.

I only found Steve a few months ago, but this makes me want to cry. It's so sad that he felt like this was what he had to do. I'm happy he's with Gibson and Sylvester now, but I'm so sad he's gone, and I can't even imagine how his family must've felt, and still feel, along with the people who grew up with him.
