Welcome to our latest travel day to Disney. We fly Easyjet from Manchester airport. We go with our lovely friends including @disneywives We are staying in the Dream Castle hotel just 30 minutes walk to Disneyland park or a short bus ride.
We eat at the new Disney village restaurant Roselie's

I can't believe Tracy's pie was reheated twice 😮 especially being fish..i would have left without paying, hope you gave the restaurant a damn strong review 😅

Yes you're right. But the rest of the food and service was dire. Put us off ever going back. Finding a decent meal on Disney village is a challenge

They are going to be building a new mcdonalds at some point. Not sure what's happening where planet Hollywood used to be. Hopefully something with good food and good service

I have to disagree about bolt. I used them in London and they were fine. Tip - go to a place/road you know they can pick you up from.
Think we just had a bad experience that one time 👍
We stayed at that hotel about 10 years ago with our kids and had bunkbeds!!! It was fine but then was a bit rundown and I remember there being “breakfast police” on the dining room door in case any one was taking spare croissants out into the parks 😂😂😂

Felt so sorry for Tracey especially there with the food. My circumstances are similar and its rare to get a "posh" meal out, for it to have been such a let down is a real shame.
Yes it was a real shame as the restaurant itself is lovely. Had we looked at the trip advisor reviews first we wouldnt have gone anywhere near it
@@TheLodgeGuys you live and learn I guess! Looking at the place you'd think it'd be really nice. My Mrs had a similar experience in Annette's years ago to be fair, they served her raw chicken in there! She can't eat cheese either and when her burger came back out with it on she told them and they just scraped it off 🤦♂️
It's a challenge to find a good meal with good service in the village. It's such a shame

Omg that food 😮 absolute disgrace I wld have refused to pay full price, your lucky yous didn't get food poisoning...these vlogs are great to show ppl where to avoid xx
In hindsight we should have just left half way through the meal and told them we weren't paying. Very poor

Amongst the many reasons I love your vlogs, I love to hear your narration Nick during the flight. I find it soothing (being nervous about flying - yet flying often) and wonder what kind of pilot experience you had in the past. I have heard you refer to it on previous blogs. BTW my dad was a pilot who taught RAF pilots here in Canada during WWII.
Nick did flight training at Leeds Bradford airport. In a small plane. He got his pilots licence and flew for a couple of years. Just 4 seater plane. This was way before we were vlogging. He doesn't have his license anymore as it was expensive to keep up with
Loved this vlog. We are travelling to Europe from Australia in June and will be visiting Disneyland Paris for our final day. Can’t wait 😊
Memories of getting the bus back to what was then the Kyriad many years ago. I had my son as a babe in arms and I literally had to elbow people out of the way to stop him getting crushed. It was horrendous.
It's a horrible experience. It's a free for all fight to get on and off

Are you guys not into fragrances at all? Nick, you screwed your face up numerous times at the mention of Duty Free 😆 and as you're so into candles etc. I thought you would be well into your frags too? If so, please let us know your favourites, I'd be so interested to know. Thanks for the effort making these vlogs and cheering me up! x

Love Disneyland Paris this vlog was amazing nice and long really enjoyed it ,our favourite is the Croque monsieur for food and I love their coffees there, can’t beat a mickey cookie, that restaurant did look beautiful but im glad you went first that food was awful imagine if you ate the Luke warm fish it could of made you really sick get a grip Disney sack the chef thanks for your time making these vlogs can’t wait for an life 🤓😊

Funny enough in south africa we find bolt much cheaper and more reliable than uber but glad you got sorted ...love your vlog💞💞
we just had a bad experience with it, we do it again in a vlog in a couple of days so you can see how that turned out soon

Hey Lodge Guys! I may have missed it on this vlog, however, please can you let me know how much the UBER was? We normally do magical shuttle but thinking this option may be cheaper. Love the vlogs ! xx
I think the flight time includes the taxiing time at airport, we went to Venice last year & it said 2 & half hours! But it was 1 hour 55 minutes flying from Manchester! 🤷🏼♀️
Must do as our flight was a lot quicker than the time stated

We stayed at Santa Fe in 2019 and I just hated that hotel. The food was not good, bad Mexican, there was no air con just a ceiling fan. And there was a mandatory power cut on the hottest day. You bought a drinks cup but you could only use it once a day, rip off

I stayed there over 20 years ago - but it was pretty crap then.

We went to the English pub last year and the food was very poor. Was better when it was king ludwig
Where emma was going toward lifts we were 5th floor

Bolt can be used in uk iv used it in Manchester and near Bolton not sure what other areas it can be used in uk also can be used in Thailand in Phuket

We did complain and they did nothing apart from offer one free coffee
@@TheLodgeGuys I was brought up in the South of France and if I learnt anything from my parents it’s to never accept bad service/food! I think sometimes it’s worth the discomfort you may feel and you simply refuse to pay for stuff you’re not happy about! The French would never have accepted that level of quality !!
Our room had two double bed & faced toward the hotel on left side of hotel

We loved our stay there. Would recommend walking to and from park if you can. The bus is horrendous
That would of put me right off about the food I bet it was expensive too
It was! In hindsight we should have tole them after the second attempt at heating it up that we didn't want it. Very poor

Hi Nick and Leigh, really enjoying these vlogs, as it's a short flight ,do you have to have fully charged phones etc before flight ?
The flight is short we didn't have to bother charging on the plane. We just charged everything that morning as we usually do
I mean, it doesn’t get any better really, does it! Travel day, which I just love watching when you film on the plane, I’m a nervous flyer, but I’ve never let it stop me, I’ve flown around the world, almost😊 Then we are in Disneyland Paris, & the hotel, omg,it was gorgeous, thank you me lovelies, I felt like I was there in person with you all, sooooooo much fun, love ya’s ❤❤

We really love Disney World but Disneyland Paris has never appealed to us but for some reason we really got the Disney vibe watching this vlog, so much so we are now looking at going later on in the year. The hotel looked really nice, just wondering what the price comparison would be against a Disney hotel.
We love it. You just have to be prepared that the staff aren't magical and smiley like they are in Florida.

That hotel is beautiful, wow! What a disappointment at the restaurant, I hate that when you`re really looking forward to a nice meal and it doesn`t measure up.
It was such a shame. Put us off for life ever going back

Stand 34 is the bus back to dream castle but you share with 5 other hotels, a nightmare on the buses 🙈🙈🙈 a fight to get on
We want to stay anywhere where you don't have to get that frigging bus back

Hi Guys, Enjoyed watching your vlog , the Dreamcastle hotel looks lovely, what was the breakfast at the hotel like ?
We stayed at Campanile val de france hotel it was ok but your not allowed to sit in the hotel lounge chairs unless your buying food and drink 😮 which is shocking and there are no tea coffee making facilities in the bedrooms.
So sad that the new Disney restaurant is bad , i will be avoiding it , its annoying because its not cheap the food should be better .

Hi Guys another great vlog. Love the reception area and hallways of the hotel but not so sure about the rooms. Sorry that you had such a bad meal I am with you and would not recommend I found a lot of the places to eat are over priced with poor food.
I had to use that bus with my daughter in her wheelchair and it was awful. Most people were lovely but others just tried to straddle my daughter in her chair

One man blocked faith from getting on by putting his arm out infront of her. Her dad made sure she got on and gave the guy a word or two. It's horrible getting on that bus
@TheLodgeGuys That's awful. I just don't get how people think its acceptable. The driver make two people move their empty pushchairs from the wheelchair bay so we could get on. It's definitely an eye-opener.
