The thing with Newjeans is they can probably belt and rap...but so many groups do it that they just stand out with just using their soft voice and low registers.
Also, Minji, Danielle, and Hyein are such integral parts of Newjeans' sound. Yes, Haerin and Hanni have really great voices and probably takes most of the parts...
But Minji's vocals creates a sort of stableness, Danielle's vocals makes it bright and creates a different dynamic from the rest, and Hyein's "airy" vocals makes it such a soothing sound.
These 3 voices create a great dynamic in their songs...and their voices are so recognizable, its such a great group...theyre very complete and there's no weak spot
I really love to know that theyre not given vocal coaches that curb their voices to sound like the usual kpop sound...they use their own approaches and their personalities shine on their voices as well, as much as in their choreo. They have freedom to express and not being manufactured too much and it doesnt sound plastic, they feel human

Their all amazing singers they don't try out shining each other and they compliment each other vocally haerin seems more comfortable singing lately you can she can sign but lately she's more comfortable vocally
