  • In Madison’s Overture Center for the Arts, a unique organ is played by a unique musician. Just 26 years old, Greg Zelek is the principal organist for the Madison Symphony Orchestra. And he wants everyone to experience classical music written for the organ by the greatest composers of history, bellowing from two-story-tall pipes that are one-of-a-kind.

Playing Guilmant, Bach, and Liszt from memory in concert is AWESOME. So few understand that!!! The youth will save the music and this country.

I agree with everything he said-- especially the part about showing the organ as an art form and the *responsibility* performing organists have of communicating the absolute beauty and power of organ pieces to the masses. Very well-stated and very clean playing!
