Here I am in 2021. I love looking back to the first time I heard of St. Paul and the Broken Bones. These gents give me chills every time I hear them.
Got to open for them in a small bar about nine or so years ago and it was so amazing, he was on the bar belting it out I have been so sold on them all this time since.
It's amazing to find modern artists with this much sould in their music !

Yep he is from Alabama the birthplace of modern Rock n Roll. Rock a Billy, soul via Muscle Shoals..definitely songwriting via Hank Williams, The father of Blues ,W.C. Handy..the base of it all Cherokee,Choctaw and Creek. They are GREAT He was a minister, a lawn care guy and now a blessed singer. Its in the water y'all ! ...really

I know I'm being nitpicky but the lyrics say "pick no corn" but in O.V Wright's original recording as well as here he says "pull no corn"
