Hashim and Hamza tag team to dismantle the Judeao-Christian claim that God established his covenant with Isaac and not with Ishamel (though both are the legitimate sons of Abraham).
What we have of the Torah today presents a greatly juxtaposed picture of Ishmael: on the one hand he is included in the covenant of Abraham and told that he will be blessed by God, and on the other a very anti-climactic and even negative picture is painted of him. This article performs a careful analysis of the various incidents relating to Ishmael in the Torah and reveals irreconcilable contradictions and prejudiced readings in the text. It shows that the stories about Ishmael have been corrupted by human hands and passed off as “scripture”, exactly as the Qur'an reveals:

The Quran is sufficient to refute these false claims about Ishmael as is evident from the following verses.

The Noble Qur'an
وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ إِلَّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ وَلَقَدِ ٱصْطَفَيْنَٰهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴿١٣٠﴾
And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.(130)
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥٓ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٣١﴾
When his Lord said to him, "Submit" ['Aslim'], he said "I have submitted ['Aslamto', in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds."(131)
وَوَصَّىٰ بِهَآ إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَٰبَنِىَّ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ﴿١٣٢﴾
And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims."(132)
أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَآءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنۢ بَعْدِى قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ ءَابَآئِكَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ إِلَٰهًا وَٰحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ ﴿١٣٣﴾
Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."(133)
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٣٤﴾
That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.(134)
وَقَالُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا۟ ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ﴿١٣٥﴾
They say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists."(135)
قُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ ﴿١٣٦﴾
Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."(136)

So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and Allah will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.(137)
صِبْغَةَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ صِبْغَةً ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ عَٰبِدُونَ ﴿١٣٨﴾
[And say, "Ours is] the religion of Allah. And who is better than Allah in [ordaining] religion? And we are worshippers of Him."(138)
قُلْ أَتُحَآجُّونَنَا فِى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَآ أَعْمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُخْلِصُونَ ﴿١٣٩﴾
Say, [O Muhammad], "Do you argue with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere [in deed and intention] to Him."(139)
أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ ۗ قُلْ ءَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَٰدَةً عِندَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٤٠﴾
Or do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants were Jews or Christians? Say, "Are you more knowing or is Allah?" And who is more unjust than one who conceals a testimony he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.(140)

*Chapter 3 The family of Imran سورة آل عمران - Aal-e-Imran: Verse 64*
قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُولُوا اشْهَدُوا بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O People of the Book! Let us come to common terms: that we will worship none but Allah, associate none with Him, nor take one another as lords instead of Allah.” But if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted ˹to Allah alone˺.”
💥 *Chapter 3 The family of Imran سورة آل عمران - Aal-e-Imran: Verse 65*
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ وَالْإِنْجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until long after him? Do you not understand?
💥 *Chapter 3 The family of Imran سورة آل عمران - Aal-e-Imran: Verse 66*
هَا أَنْتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ حَاجَجْتُمْ فِيمَا لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِيمَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Here you are! You disputed about what you have ˹little˺ knowledge of, but why do you now argue about what you have no knowledge of? Allah knows and you do not know.
💥 *Chapter 3 The family of Imran سورة آل عمران - Aal-e-Imran: Verse 67*
مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to Allah's (Which is Islam), and he joined not gods with Allah.
💥 *Chapter 3 The family of Imran سورة آل عمران - Aal-e-Imran: Verse 68*
إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَٰذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Indeed, those who have the best claim to Abraham are his followers, this Prophet, and the believers. And Allah is the Guardian of those who believe.
Abraham is Starting point of His race.
So, he has be Before any of his progeny of Race.

@@andydufresne4444 And what is even really twisted/morally wrong about the version the Jewish bible gives regarding Ibrahim(AS) and Ismail(AS) is that according to them, God was allowed to essentially give a curse upon Ismail (no one would like him and he would be a bandit) before he was even born simply because Sarah was jealous of Hagar. Are you serious?? The following translation was actually taken from a reputable Jewish website called Chabad so no one can say I am being disingenuous in presenting my evidence.

8-And he(an angel of the Lord) said, "Hagar, Sarai's servant, where are you coming from, and where are you going to?" And she said, "From before Sarai my mistress, I am fleeing."
9-And the angel of the Lord said to her, "Return to your mistress, and allow yourself to be afflicted under her hands."
10-And the angel of the Lord said to her, "I will greatly multiply your seed, and it will not be counted for abundance."

You say that The Father is God, The Son is God, The Holy Spirit is God, but they are not three gods but one God. Such a statement lacks all kind of logic. I'll give a small example just to shed some light over your statement.
My name, for example, is Shady. I have, for example, 3 parts that makes me. These parts are, *My Soul, My Heart, My blood.* Now notice how can we solve that nightmarish confusion that's hunting the Christians all over the world.
Simply, my Soul by itself *IS NOT* Shady, my Heart by itself *IS NOT* Shady and my Blood by itself *IS NOT* Shady. The 3 parts make Shady, but *NONE* of them on *IT'S OWN* makes Shady, makes sense?
If I DARED TO SAY THAT I'M SHADY, My Soul is Shady, my Heart is Shady and my Blood is Shady, then *WE HAVE 4 SHADY!* Makes sense again? You have got two issues that you will need to face whether you chose to make them 1 God or 3 gods.
If you said the 3 are forming one God, which is what you say when you wanna switch the table to abide by the 10 Commandments, *then your 3 gods simply died on the cross* since the 3 are one. Looking at the example I gave above, I can't live without my heart or blood, in the absence of any of these parts I'm done and totaled. The universe maintained itself in the absence of your God? How can that happen when everything relies on His existence? How to be God and die at the same time, and who gave him his life back???
And if you said they are 3 Gods then you are shooting your own leg and *contradicting the 10 Commandments* that there is only ONE God.
Now you know WHY THEY TEACH YOU IN CHURCHES THAT THE FATHER IS GOD, THE SON IS GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD, BUT THEY ARE NOT 3 GODS BUT ONE GOD. So they would avoid breaking the 10 Commandments and say "Hey, notice that we are worshiping only One God", and if you are smart enough to detect that if they are ALL ONE GOD, and IF HE IS ONLY ONE GOD THEN THE ONLY ONE GOD DIED ON THE CROSS, they will tell you "Hey, they are 3 Gods" and the loop continue and continue and it will never end.

May Allah grant us ALL guidance. sometimes we forget that we too need to always seek and ask Allah for guidance, that we never know if we will die muslims, if we would even wake up the next day muslims. we need to remind ourselves and work on our hearts as much, if not more, as we do when we call others to islam, without assuming they heard enough and yet they are still not budging hence are stubborn.

Glad to see Muslims comfortably using the word God. On the issue of who Abraham(pbuh) was ethnically, both groups will not be able to correctly provide. If as Jews and Christians claim he was ethnic Hebrew how did Ishmael(pbuh) become "the ancestor of Arabs"? Both Arabs and Hebrews are Semites. The correct version is that both Ishmael(pbuh) and Isaac(pbuh) were dispatched by Abraham(pbuh) to two different locations in order to spread God's(Allah's) Message. Whether they were Arab or Hebrew wasn't a priority and did not matter. People still follow the incorrect and commonly held belief that Arabs are direct descendants of Ishmael(pbuh) and Jews- a religious group- of Isaac(pbuh). Faith overrides ethnicity and tribe.
