Fun Fact: The Shanghaied episode was a choose your ending type of episode, where people voted on the outcome of the episodes ending, where Spongebob’s wish was ultimately chosen, while Patrick and Squidward’s endings were dropped.

I completely forgot how packed season 2 is. Wormy, Survival of the Idiots, I’m Your Biggest Fanatic, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III, Shanghaied, Frankendoodle, and of course the Band Geeks Episode. This has got to be the best season of SpongeBob.
Was just thinking that. During the first season, I was like “So many of these episodes are great” but then when they got to season 2, it’s legitimately like every single episode that I think “Oh, _this_ episode?? This one’s an absolute classic”
And its just gonna keep going with Band Geeks.

Kinda disappointed they skipped over the "Look, doubloons! Don't drop 'em!" joke. It was a "don't drop the soap" joke, and a great example of the adult jokes hidden in the show that would go right over kids' heads.

@@GrimGriefer5 I think they got it from the jail thing. Which is a joke about prison rape. Which is horrible and men/women use it that tactic of sexual assault to prove their dominance so they don't get taken advantage of. Some men/women actually turn gay in jail/prison. Which is unfortunate. I hope that jail/prison culture stops, because it's only doing more harm and affecting people's lives, people even cheat on their significant others with people in prison such as; having a "prison husband/wife", typically of the same sex or because they like it. It's disgusting.
@@applefarm6126 bro i know what the don’t drop the soap thing is you don’t need to explain it to me but i can promise you they mean it in the pirate way, because they were roleplaying as pirates and spongebob probably doesn’t even know what sex is, and would never do that to garry even if it’s a joke, also spongebob said specifically they were doubloons which is part of the curse thing i said, but maybe the writers did both, where it’s a pirate curse and a dirty joke, but i don’t like to think of like that since it’s a kids show and spongebob is more innocent than everyone
We have finally made it to DoodleBob, This was my most anticipated episode for them to react to, It's just under the first movie for me!

the reason there are so many phones in Patchy's house, is because when this episode originally aired. Nickelodeon held a contest for fans to call in and choose who got the last of the three wishes. And the obvious winner was SpongeBob, Squidward and Patrick's endings were actually made and I'm sure are free to view on CZcams. Squidward wished to have never met SpongeBob and Patrick they got eaten. Patrick wished for gum and they got eaten.

Frankendoodle has to be one of my favorite episodes, and SpongeBob’s explanation of DoodleBob has to be one of my favorite quotes from the series. That episode really puts into perspective, “don’t play God!”

Funny story. The DvD release of that Flying Dutchman episode has two alternate endings where Squidward and Patrick get the wish instead of SpongeBob. In both of those wishes they end up eaten but I think Squidward wishes that he never met the other 2 so they all act like strangers, and Patrick just wishes for gum. 😂
