Within this, you can probably hear what would be the future Goal Horn of the Ottawa Senators, it's an Airchime M3H salvaged from an FP9 that was scrapped in 1995.
Feeling proud. At 15:00 Could very much be my Grandfather driving The Canadian. When he retired his last run Cartier to Mactier was the last day VIA had The Canadian on CP Rail January 1990. The last Engineer to drive through Sudbury on that line.
My Grandfather ran the Canadian after retiring from CN in the mid-80s, shortly after Hinton.
He ran it on the Ottawa to Montreal and back segment, retired in 1993 with one of the last runs of the FP9s
This was around the time when CN installed the fibre optic cables between Montreal and Toronto
Kinda neat seeing a 70s camera in a 80s setting. Also rare seeing it’s got the audio with it.
4:32 - 6:30 is Burlington West.
8:10 - 9:37 is Paris West.
15:26 - 16:48 is Port Hope.
Where was the street running of the F7 ABA trio at 1:32:00 or so?
1:16:56 There we have a Rebuilt GP9 and an unbuilt one. Interesting

Do you happen to have more footage of the ones from Sudbury in the 80s & 90s including the city itself?
Have content on either the Cayuga Sub or Caso Subs in this period?
No.
What railroad does the train at 26:20 belong to? I have never seen that paint scheme before.
Montreal commuter agency.
I think the location at 59:17 is aultsville road
Nope it isn't Its actually this location. 62-112 Nith Rd, Brant, ON N3L 3E2
At 19:40 where is this in Port Hope, is it still accessible?
I was seriously born in the wrong time period.
A little bit here on one of the last Toronto sections of the "old" Canadian in 1990.
