How to Level Baking FAST in Pax Dei!

Having trouble leveling Baking in Pax Dei? Baking is a bit more involved than some of the other tradeskills, and requires a lot more preparation. Here's some helpful tips and a step-by-step guide to help you level Baking and continue progressing in early access.

I have been working nonstop since the beginning and all my other jobs/ skills have gone up but the bakery. There’s 2 of us in my group who are active. I do the top 5 skills and he does the bottom and middle ones minus herbalist so this was HELPFUL 😊 but we just unlocked MILL today thank you for pointing that one out.

thanks for these quick and comprehensive guides. i'm a solo player and have used these to push all of my professions, of which you'Ve made guides for, to 15+ it really helps me target farm the recipes needed to spam

I love your tutorials on how to level up crafts, but sometimes you don't really go into things in detail. For example the fact that you NEED the grain mill, which requires you to have a loom, which requires you to have t2 leather. So you're basically stuck on baking 9 unless you're at leatherworking 20+. Like I said: I'm a fan, just sometimes I wanna follow the tutorial only to realize I can't actually do any of what you said, because of some item that I haven't unlocked yet, that was breezed over.

@yunashazard105 sorry about that! It's easy to forget what unlocks what in this game. We upgraded our benches and stuff really fast. I didn't handle that as I am not our blacksmith. I will make a note of that for next time.

So I'm stuck at Level 9 baking. I can't grind oat or wheat for some reason. I can make the plans for the mill but can't make the mill. It doesn't show up in the list of crafting recipes when I go to the build menu. My carpentry is level 26 and blacksmithing is 21.

you need the baking tool to unlock both the upper oven and the grain mill

@kenferguson4596 the level 29 blacksmithing recipe Baking Tools? Man, if that is the case, baking should just start as a dang tier 3 skill

@@ericmatthews8326 so true, im stuck at the same sht. At PD database, it states that oath dough is unlocked either with the basic oven, or by picking up oat, as long as you have cooking lvl 13. wtf... For the Baking tools you need to be at least lvl 16 on Blacksmithing.. it requires linen cloth to craft, so you also need to be a lvl 21 Tailor, just to craft a Bread Oven.

Gonna be honest after nearly 600 hrs the damage res food seem broken. It seems better to stack highest hp and hp regen foods for Frontline dps and Stam for tanks

@xungaming469 we have been going back and forth on foods in our parties, too. I want to do more testing with the different foods to see what actually is the best, but that's easier said than done. We are working on leveling baking and brewing to get access to the higher tier foods from there, and then I will test things out more thoroughly. Our primary baker/brewer got caught up with work so we are playing catch-up to get past their progress right now. We're just a group of 8-10, and people are getting busier, so it's harder to get a group on to do stuff lately. It would be nice to have options for foods that can all be viable instead of everyone using the same foods.

True , damage reduction seems to make no difference , I stack hp and regen , tried different armours too with little difference in damage taken
