Learn how to maximize your muscle gains using drop sets with resistance bands!
Drop sets are a great technique to help you train beyond the point of failure by quickly decreasing the load after your max effort set, which allows you to crank out extra reps and maximize muscle hypertrophy.
This technique is widely used with free weights, but can also be completed using resistance bands.
We'll go over my favorite methods for incorporating drop set training into your resistance band workouts so that you can accelerate your gains and push through plateaus!

Just got done with my clench band work out. I'm new to bands after 30 plus years of lifting weights. I like them! 💪

I only do one set per exercise. One set that lasts until I can't even budge. Starting heavy and then a bunch of drops, combined with multiple rest pauses at the end of each set. It's killer.

Always informed tut's on ways to use bands, thank you !! I do 4 sets using bands, first set 20reps 3 remainders 10 reps, but last one double the speed.. Totally different from using free weights, which you increase as you go 10 , 8, 6, 4, #2 twice at only 80% of your max.. and then back to the 10 # for 1 set, a that point it feels like a feather. Both systems keeps you gaining strength. Plus rotating in Knees over Toes exercises.

    question. is the footplate metallic?

    • @ClenchFitness

It is not metallic. It's made from an industrial grade plastic.
