This is a classic rendition of Rosie Rozelle's trademark Mournful tenor style in which sends "chills" up and down the spine of any believer!! Love it !!

Doy was one of the greatest singers ever. He has always been highly under rated.

I agree, the "Statesman Quartet" are the Gold standard from which all others formed !!

I was born in '71 so I didn't ever get to see the Statesmen in person but, since I started listening to them (since ther Gaither videos started) they are w/out a doubt STILL the standard that all quartets are measured.

Rosie Rozell was one of the greatest and smoothest tenors ever. He never strained to reach the highest notes. He was a former policeman from Oklahoma. I miss these guys.

Yes, Rosie was a police officer in Tulsa. He escorted my family to the hospital the night I fell out of our car, and prayed for me with my mama before leaving.

Doy Ott was the greatest baritone to ever walk on a stage, then and now! And Rosie Rozell, well what more can you say? He was awesome! I think that John Rulapaugh is Rosie's clone

So happy to find this beautiful Quartet with Rosie Rozelle. The last time I watched him sing was on the Gaither Homecoming. Ironically, it was his last performance; he joined the Heavenly host 6 months later.

Doy Ott is t he greatest baritone that ever lived. He has a voice like velvet and what a smile he has. He's so handsome.
