Keanu always gives his all in action sequences. He truly embodied John Wick.
it also depends on the choreographers and the director... in the new shitty matrix he looked as if he had shat his pants
Leaving aside Keanu who is a master , I think that Common and Ruby did an extraordinary job. Also well done to the whole team, bravo!
I just watched ch. 2 again the other day, and really appreciated how much Common says with just his eyes!
Keanu once signed onto 3 John Wick movies with a pencil. A fucking pencil
They need to statt an award category for sunt actors. They're incredible
..."And the winner, for the 20th year in a row, goes to New Zealand."
They wont. Reason is people would make crazier stunts to win which might end up unsafe resulting to harm or death.
Keanu Reeves is an actor of focus... commitment... and sheer will. Something some actors know very little about.
Edit: For all of the people getting mad at me for talking down on other actors and whatever else, this is meant to be a joke. Not a statement of my views.
@@slumshoes I once saw him sign posters for three men in a bar. With a pencil...
I love the behind the scenes videos, it shows just how much goes behind in making a movie that would last only about couple of hours, how many moving pieces that must come together to make it good. Hats off to all the people who were involved.
Now watch Iron Fist and see what its like when the main character doesnt practice.
So happy stunt people are finally getting the recognition they work so hard on.
yeah it looks to me most of the action scenes were done by lookalikes which is as it should be.
@@Lepinkainen_ Absolutely! The movies/tv shows wouldn't be remotely as good without them.
Facts! I have heard Keanu does most of his stunts, but these people that pull th really dangerous stuff- 👏🏻
From the fight scenes, gun scenes, overall cinematography to even the background music, the John Wick movies really entertains, thanks to all the crew involved
Off camera Keanu is a very kind & humble man, a honest & honorable man, the kind of man we should all strive to emulate.
Keanu is so humble. Truly a role model as a professional and an artist.
Great work by all the actors and people behind the scenes! You can tell everyone here loves what they do and it shows.
And that's why John Wick is so freaking awesome, and fun to watch. Great job, and great movies. 👍👍👍
I used to think he was perfect for the matrix but John wick might be his best role yet😊
I love how the JW character doesn't assume down = dead, he'll put another bullet in their head so they don't get up behind him. And that the stunt double for Keanu is mainly used for working out the choreography so Keanu is only learning the final choreography.
Keanu doesn't seem to be 2 years away in turning 60 years old cause he still mad athletic and healthy to do lots of these stunts himself.
Such amazing work the stunt performs can create and stunt doubles, mad respect to all of the stunt crews for helping out on all John Wick films👌🙏❤️🔥
John Wick is a "breath of fresh air" action movie. The team did a great job and the action was awesome.
All of your skill and experience shines through big time. Thanks for contributing to such an awesome film! (films? I hope you guys got to work on them all :) )
Absolutely love the John Wick movies, Keanu is my favorite actor. Such a great person in real life. It's hard not to be a fan.
Massive respect for all the ones doing those stunts and battles. It pushes the John Wick films so high up above the rest.
So stunning....incredible Team ❤❤❤love this. Take care Sir Keanu Reeves ❤❤all my blessings always. Your Fan from France ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for your continuous love, care, and support, that's what keeps me going ❤... How long have you been a fan of mine?
Great video guys WOW 👌 thanks for this informative piece 👍 I love the John wick franchise 😀reeves is awesome respect 🙏
I actually liked Ares, even if she wasn't a big deal in the end (literally lasted less than a minute in a 1v1 fight, as expected) but I think it was a nice addition. Plus, Ruby Rose really can rock that formal suit 👌🏻
The beautiful Ruby Rose. I think it is going to be a Ruby Rose weekend for me.
Amazing! Really amazing!
The quality of the scenes is indescribable, given the lights and environments carefully selected with rich details to convey the entire legacy of the dome's history and anyone who follows the sequence knows what I'm talking about. The fights take place with beauty and choreography, image and light meticulously selected to convey reality. Having a magnificent result. And the most beautiful thing is to see the care taken with everyone using high technology to guarantee quality safety for those involved in the creation of each scene. A beautiful work with extreme zeal, study and use of technology that guaranteed us a spectacle of images. Congratulations to this great technical and artistic group who followed the vision of its visionary director Chad Stalheski and the perfectionism of Keanu Revees who dedicated hours, days and months to bring this great work of the 7th Art and guarantee us to watch this wonderful sequel to John Wick 4 and leave wanting more. Congratulations team John Wick🎉🤝👏👏💥🤩😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your character, your kindness, your humility in recognizing who walks with you, and your concern with charity in the fight against cancer and for favored mems,
these things that make me admire you! My dear, the love for you is the result of admiration for maintaining your essence, for not letting yourself be overwhelmed by the fruit of your work and for not letting yourself be carried away by fame! Your zeal for your privacy also attracts me because silence speaks louder than many words! His controlled manner even in the midst of so many interviews and still maintaining his good humor and joy is fascinating. Your drive to excel at what you do is invigorating. I see virtues in your words, I feel respect, trust, affection and complicity in every word you say. That's why I love you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Pretty amazing how the director Chad Stahelski is actually a stunt double. John Wick is his first movie he directed. You can really see how his experience as a stunt double implicated into these movies.
He was close friends with Brandon Lee, he was one of his stunt doubles, he did a couple scenes in The Crow after Brandons death, the majority was done by his other double was Jeff Cadiente
Can you imagine being on the filming set and the director suddenly yells "CUT!" as he steps into the scene to resume his Keanu stunt double duties since the Matrix.
Next scene is the opponent promptly throwing Chad into a wall or something.
The stunt people work so hard for our entertainment. They need to be recognized more their commitment and physical toll it takes on them.
Love Ruby Rose, Love Keanu. Was awesome to see those two go at it!
Wow. A lot of extras were needed for this movie!
The John Wick movies revolutionized cinema. They have elevated the game far beyond what it was before. I'm so excited for the next generation of action movies!
I love John Wick, but watch Collateral from 2005. That movie clearly inspired John Wick's realistic gunplay. And still that movie has the most realistic sound to guns I ever heard in a movie.
With so many of the big action stars getting old (Arnold, Sly, Bruce). John Wick was a breathe of fresh for action movies. We had enough of F&F after the 5 sequel
Is that a joke? It’s the same as about 300 films. So boring by now. shit films
They didn't revolutionise it, they simply reinvigorated big-budget Western Action films. The market has just been stagnant with uncreative and lazy action choreography for so long, it took a lucky break to finally get something worth talking about again. We were just that desperate- but if you look elsewhere in world cinema, there has always been good action films like this around, albeit maybe on lower budgets.
American cinema and the corporate entities like the MPA have only become softer and more hesitant to make anything truly r-rated, partly in lieu of appealing to as wide an audience as possible for maximum profit and nothing more. It's likely why Derek Kolstad struggled to sell even a very basic Revenge film premise like John Wick in the first place to major studios, because when he got a team together that understood it, they wanted to go hard rather than pander to tradition for a quick buck. He apparently even struggled to find a director that didn't only look at it as a generic action film with an unflinching badass protag.
The one facet you could argue John Wick did bring to the table is strong fight choreography built around firearms rather than just melee.
This is why john wick is so so good. Keanu and the rest learn correct moves and proper firearm training to make it believable and just kick ass movies
Is this not the greatest action film to date now? At least in this genre. Gladiator, Troy too are legendary.
RR is absolutely gorgeous!
With all the training, I believe Keanu would be a real world formidable opponent.
I’m looking at that mirror scene trying to figure out how much editing was involved to hide the cameras and crew in reflections. Was really a great scene.
God tier thumbnail. Wish we saw that side of Ruby Rose in the film. Meow.
She's a mentally deranged, tattooed, woke, trans, suicidal vegan. She displays virtually every red flag a female can have. There's nothing attractive about her.
Great stunts Keanu!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
4:41 is the reason you clicked on the video and it lasts less than a second.
Everyone is all just Amazing. JW 1,2,3 and now 4. Love you all. Great talent. Ironic scene in #4 with Charon. Will miss Mr Reddick.
John Wick series has the best action of any movie ever. The Raid series does as well.
This is why the Wick franchise is the greatest action movie series in history.
2:34 Yeah the fight scene between Keanu and the dude that plays Cassian was fire! Appreciate the effort everyone took.
Some of them may have had a couple minutes or a few seconds of screen time, but for them was a whole experience.
This is probably what makes Keanu and also Tom Cruise such great action actors: There rarely is stuntman trickery, you get to have these focused steady shots where you actually see the character fo through the full motions
This is Ruby Roses best speaking role
Looks like the stuntmen had loads of fun with ruby. Nice
This guy knows what he was doing with the thumbnail. Damn.
I'm glad the John Wick series has revitilaized the 80s macho-man action hero genre for a new generation!
Keanu vs Ruby is my favorite fight in the series. She is so good at action but she hates doing it. Wish we got more from her.
@@LastbutNotFirstruby is a woman. And you are just a pathetic piece of trash.
When “Ruby Rose” came up, I couldn’t help but think of RWBY.
SAME, and not to mention that I recently, like the community, finished watched Vol 9...
Amazing thumbnail
I thought Ruby's Rose did a good job in the film. I enjoyed her and the character she played.
@Adan Rios they've done that in a few shows... it's because she can't act.
The John Wick films are brilliant because you can see the real world training that the actors had done in the way they handle the weapons and fight , unlike some so called action movies that have been made the last few years.
Good to see old fashioned stunts and stuntmen and stuntwomen getting the credit they deserve
I love to see you fight Keanu ❤❤❤❤
Cool !
Bunch of dedicated professionals… speechless
Chad is very talented!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Keanu best actor ever and better person
U have amazing job 🍀
Great stunts team 👏 👍 👌 🙌 💪 😊😊😊😊
So they listen to what a director wants theN make it work and look good. Nice to see some professionals finally able to apply their skills properly.
I was happy with how quickly he beat Ruby Rose's character. The scene sort of plays with that reality-denying idea of recent cinema wherein a tiny person somehow manages to be a threat, but once they actually fight, reality sets in and he beats her in about 30-40 seconds, even tossing her around like a ragdoll.
I used to regularly get thrown around a dojo by a woman who literally weighed half what I did. Decent timing and technique can beat size and muscle
@@diceman199 That logic is soundly defeated by the fact that there are weight divisions in nearly all sanctioned fights.
He did have all of the advantages there.
She was doing a great job showing what you'd really do if you were taking on someone so much bigger than you though, same as I would if I took on Dwaine Johnson I'd grab a weapon even if I was better with my Jujutsu I have to get an advantage somewhere
It is a great balance. Even getting whooped in 40 seconds, she held her own better than most other baddies. He looked strong. She looked good. It didn't stray from the rules of its own world and did not overstay its welcome. Nice touch by Ruby and director too, you can clearly see she knows she's toast when she sends santino ahead to buy him time but still goes to battle. It's one of my least favorite confrontations, but that is just how good the action is in these movies. Even the lower rated ones for me are still solid.
I like that stunk choreographer a lot. He gets in the show. I like when he paid the leader on the Bud in Nobody. (but I did recognize him when watching)
cant't wait to watch john wick 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lov u keanuuuuuuuuuuuuuu congrats to all of uuuuu
That thumbnail is on point.lol😛
Just rewatched this one the other day. Common and Keanu were amazing. I hope we can see more of Common's character in future films. In hindsight, the fight with Ruby was kind of weak compared to everything else, and they made her seem much more of a bad ass then she ended up being.
@@danieldaulie8980 John didn't kill him. He left him with a choice to either keep the knife in his chest and live, or pull it out, and he'll die. I don't recall anything else mentioned about Common's character after that, or in the sequels, that marked him as dead.
That was the point. The character Ares thought she was at their level. John knew she wasn't. John and Commons character weren't trying to show off, they had goals and has anger to fuel him to see it done. Doesnt boast or have an air of ego. But Ares on the other hand always tries to get Johns attention when they cross.
Thumbnail helps with clicking, but the content is great for people like John Wick.
This looks like a lot of fun.
Was a big fan of common’s character. Just blown away by the JW + Cassian scenes
Look how tired these actors and fighters are in the interviews. These people work their butts off and earn their money. Respect.
Imagine the lead actor carrying a microphone stand and bags
Kean Reeves is a complete man
Even your fingers has a bullets! Is the most dangerous man in the world!!!!!
whoever is in charge of doing the thumbnail for the video knew exactly what they were doing
I would love to see footage of Keanu and Hugo Weaving doing fight training for the Matrix.
I love The John wick movies🥰
The irony is that Ruby’s stunt double was so obvious that once you notice you can't unsee every scene she's in, meanwhile Keanu is doing everything himself. At least they showed her stunt double in this clip, not everyone is as good as Keanu but overstating the level of fighting they did ends up being a negative and understates the work their doubles do.
I don’t know when this was filmed but I’m pretty sure she got back injury from her short run as batwoman. If that was the case the crazy stunt fights in John wick would suck to film
@@getaloadofthisguy2927 She was only casted as Batwoman after John Wick 2, so no, not from injuries during Batwoman. If any injuries, it will be from another show
Cannot compare the two. Keanu already trained years and years when he did JW2! Ruby if she has no martial arts background needed months to train and even then she would have needed a stunt double for some difficult moves. That double low front sweep, is for even a veteran stunt woman difficult to perform smoothly!
"doing everything by himself" but still has stunt double which would directly indicate that he doesnt do everything himself, since if he did, they wouldnt need to have stunt double for him. He may do most of the stuff himself, but clearly not everything
Dammit! I want to see a Tom Cruise/Keanu Reeves action film while these two are still alive!
I'm sure AI can spit one out in a few minutes for ya, it hasn't failed yet.
@@angela1984a Just because Tom is crazy doesn't mean his movies and stunts aren't good. He's still a good actor.
@@briangottshall5935 There are plenty of good actors. And Tom can't do a single stunt without at least one stunt coordinator. I would rather support another actor like Keanu that doesn't gaslight for a subversive Cult like Scientology.
I'm an engineer - I know my field. I admit I am ignorant of the level of detail, skill, and professionalism involved with doing stuff like this. And on occasion, Keanu has lines ;) Keanu, don't shoot me ;) Salute to all of you.
Every time l watch any John Wick related content l want to play Pistol Whip.
Ruby got killed in like 5 seconds it was hilarious
And she was dragged on the floor after flying above John Wick, desperately agitated.
Clearly not the climax nor the boss' right-hand we expected.
@@HappyMSI1 But it's what we would realistically expect if the two were to fight
You know it's a good movie when you see Leon S Kennedy fighting John Wick
Keanu has had several surgeries. I can understand why he didn't do all those scenes... (I'm 5th black and I've had some surgeries and I can't do a lot of that stuff now.) Still he did most of it and he trains often!!! For his age, 58, he does a tremendous amount.
I swear as much shooting in John wick movies I'd be paranoid about the gun. Definitely makes a difference having someone on a movie set knowing their job compared to someone carless.
The only mirror scene fight I can only remember was Bruce Lee vs Mr Han in " Enter the Dragon". That was 1973.
0:10 we all here for that
I hoped Ruby Rose would return in Chapter 3 or 4 - Her character was really cool.
I can't believe there was a whole mirror room shootout segment that lasted for like, 10 minutes and we never saw the cameras once. Bravo
I remember feeling the Ruby Rose fight scene felt realistic because Wick's character was clearly stronger and concerned with making sure she didn't slice or get a stab in. Once he got control of her swinging arm. It was over. For Hollywood a much better depiction of grown man and grown woman.
Ruby it’s like King in Art of Fighting
Gosto do cabelo do keanu Reeves assim curto com franjinha, fica muito gato 🤭😂❤
amazing
Bro knew what he was doing with that thumbnail
Basic judo by John Wick should be followed by traditional Karate. His judo and jitsu is classical/traditional.
Love that you took a "sexy" Picture as the Preview for the Video so it can be used for the Clicks. The whole scene is about 5seconds? And the whole Part with Ruby Rose is about 2minutes. where she is on the Screen for 1minute. Clever.
