As a former dancesport athlete, i want to say that this is amazing! The show she did is NOT EASY and it’s reeaaaaally tiring to do. Congratulations to her, this is the kind of show that you would expect to see performed by athletes with at least 7-8 years of experience.
She was actually a professional ballroom dancer for I believe 9 years and once ranked 6th globally

They’re truly here to do a SPORT, and I think that’s part of what sets them apart from everyone else: their professionalism. Cheng xiao, yuqi, and now xiao ting, setting fucking standards bruh
China has amazing dance and sport schools. They really are talented at producing talented individuals.

Can't count how many times I have watched this performance from the so many fancams available online (youtube, twitter) but once I saw this, I just knew I have to watch it again. Simply, phenomenal. There's something very satisfying watching experts (Xiaoting and her male partner) craft perfection.

아마추어 경연에 프로선수가 축하공연 와 준 수준... 개압도적 .. 실력도 실력인데 몸에 붙은 근육들까지 넘사임 진짜로
동작에서 손끝 발끝까지 얼마나 열심히 간절하게 연습했는 지가 느껴진다. 어찌보면 이벤트 같은 무대라 성의껏해도 되는데 이렇게 까지 완벽한 무대 보여줘서 감동..션사오팅 케플러 이런 간절함이면 어딜내놔도 성공할듯.
It's been about a year, but I still watch this performance every day. It's the best Xiaoting fancam, I don't have to worry about her being hidden at the back, I can see all her moves clearly. I love that from beginning to end, basically every part of the dance is a killing part. Usually this can be a problem if it's too action packed, but this choreo still shows nice progression starting with the more calm and elegant rumba moves building up to the more fast paced and exciting cha-cha.

진짜 예전부터 선출이다 몇년동안했다 이런말많이했지만 실전에선 다들 평범한수준의 길력이였는데 샤오팅은 진짜 선출에 최상위권실력 ㅋㅋ 그것도 주종목 스탠다드도아닌 종목으로도 이런 압도적인 실력이라니 ㅋㅋ 진짜 아육대씹어먹으러온 샤오팅 !!

Xiaoting is simply next level. Her style, her dance, her muscle! All in all she is the queen. She even tied up all hair and made her skin tone darker because that's what professionals would do, she is honoring her identity as an ex professional sports dancer.
And OH MY GOD, her muscle!!! It's so powerful and sexy at the same time.
I cant have a proper conversation now with who hasn't watched this, I just have too much of this amazing performance in my mind.
She was very professional because this is what she did before becoming an idol 😉

1:37 This looks so effortless for a pro, but I've seen a few amateurs try it and it's really difficult to make it look so smooth
I think the trick is the head turn. If you do it to early or too slow, it will remove tension and make the move amateurish

xiaoting got trending overnight when many attendees in isac posted the fancam videos in every angles she is so powerful in performance many see her iconic intro in moonriver and snap the dancefloor a beautiful ballroom indeed
샤오팅이 예능이나 라디오에서 댄스스포츠 동작들 조금씩 보여주긴 했었지만 이렇게 정식으로 보여준건 처음인데 다른 아이돌들도 잘했지만 진짜 선출은 다르구나 느낌... 그리고 케플러 멤버들 다 춤 잘 추지만 음악방송 무대 직캠 보면 샤오팅이 춤을 잘 추는 것도 있지만 댄스스포츠를 해서 그런지 샤오팅만의 느낌이 있음
As amazing as she was, it was kinda of expected that she would win first place. She had a professional a background in ballroom dancing. They suddenly added this category knowing theres an idol who had such background.

기술,연기,연출,헤메코 등 다 완벽하지만 무엇보다 다르다고 느껴지는건 댄스스포츠 무대에 많이 서본 사람이라는게 확 느껴진다 다른 참가자분들도 잘했지만 동작을 하느라 여유가 없다면 이분은 수많은 연습 그리고 무대의 경험과 “나 잘해”라는 눈에 보일정도로 넘쳐 흐르는 자신감을 통해 무대 그자체를 장악한다 여기서 카리스마가 나오고 대중을 압도한다 와 역시 종사자 출신은 다르네 진짜 잘한다
