I'd love to see more cook videos with the pellet smoker. I'm very interested in buying one.
if you have a busy life and can't spend hours and hours feeding the pit you will really love this pit, pour in pellets, hit the ignite button, set the temp, get probes in close the lid and do go stuff while it cooks. the fireboard app allows you to monitor status from anywhere. the only thing I wish it had is the rotisserie attachment.
I watched this vid awhile back when I was still doing my research on the best of the best in BBQing, and now that I made the leap and invested one of your new LSG 20x42 pellet smokers I can't wait for it to arrive! I ordered it last month and it will hopefully be here in October. Thanks for the great and informative videos Chris! That prime rib came out perfect and I plan on making that one of my first cooks once my big BBQ beast gets delivered this fall. I might have to start making videos too since I will have the best pellet smoker on the planet! Hope you have a great summer.
Fantastic cook there Chris. Love me some Prime rib. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
I’m on the wait list for the large pellet grill, and look forward to getting it.
Spectacular prime rib, Chris.
Always enjoy your videos, have been anticipating your pellet grill.
Thanks
Looks fantasticChris. I can really tell you are proud of this pellet smoker. Take care.
Prime rib perfection Chris! Watching the thin blue smoke come out of the chimney reminded me a lot of my offset when she is purring just right! Can't wait!
Yes sir.
What's up Chris, R Juarez here. I'm enjoying the hell out of my cookers but I think I need to add one of these. The prime rib was awesome looking, just the way I like it. Keep up the great work and happy Mothers Day to Amber!
Looks amazing!! And plenty room in that pit!
Looks fantastic. Hope you had a very nice Mother's day!
It was nice thanks for asking.
Hello Chris, I am on the waiting list for my new pellet cooker and have been enjoying your cook videos. You look like a pretty good cook waiting for you to come out with a recipe book. Keep up the cook videos I have been enjoying them.
Great looking prime rib...but please show more of the smoker. Show us of how you set up the smoker, how you programmed the fireboard, etc. there are plenty of videos of prime rib being smoked, we want to see the smoker operation.
Nice cook looking forward to lots more videos! Great looking made in USA cooker!
Thanks
That's one good looking prime rib Chris!! Excellent job!! Getting ready to pull the trigger on a LSG Santa Maria to add to my arsenal!
Just let us know when your ready.
Waiting patiently for that smoker....BTW that prime rib looked delicious!
Thanks
Put my order in for the 20X42 in August and am excited to get it!
separate the bones from the meat, season both the roast and meat on the bones, use butcher's twine to tie the bones back on. once it is cooked to desired temp. cut the twin and remove the bones, hide them after all the cook gets the bones as a reward for cooking. also slide the mac and cheese on the pit about one hour before the roast is at desired temp.
SPOT ON!! A nice 4-serving portion. 🤣
Exactly, cave mane style.
Are you running the 36" or 42"? So close to the start of production! Can't wait!
36''
How long till the waiting list gone , I mean are we lookin at over a year to get this smoker ?
Absolutely perfect! I can't wait until my time is up on the list. What pellets do you recommend or use?
BBQr’s Delight 100% natural wood pellets
Great question...
The day before your cook you mentioned seasoning uncovered over night.
Q. Was that in fridge or room temp?
Thank you looks awesome.
One more Q. 36"vs42" . I would question 42 takes more pellets and longer to heat up. Is there an advantage to having 36 or 42? Will the 6" difference really gain anything
Was wondering the same thing, fridge overnight or room temp, just got my 42” pellet grill yesterday
Awesome! I was hoping to start seeing videos on the new pellet smoker.
Got some more planned if the weather holds up this weekend.
What is your dry brine recipe??
what size pellet smoker is this one?
Looks great! I do mine almost the same way but with a final 550°F sear in the kitchen oven instead of cranking the pellet cooker. Prime rib is one of my wife's favorites too! What's your au jus recipe?
Depends on what I cook it on, I sometimes also do a final sear over direct flame.
1 McCormick au jus packet, half a packet of Lipton onion soup mix, about a 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce and about double the water that the au jus packet called for then let it simmer until reduced.
@@lonestargrillz Sounds great! I'll have to give it a try, and maybe add a little wine.
I can not decide between your pellet grill or santa maria grill
Hey Chris the Hold feature at 160 means that the pellet smoker will die back down to 160 degrees to just act like a warmer correct? Also to dial down to do the shutoff sequence after you pull?
It will hold at 160 like a warmer, shutoff has a cool down feature that will fully exhaust the pellets and cool down the grill before turning off the power
@@lonestargrillz More grill would have been more interesting to see as there is only 1:40 of the pellet smoker in this video (4:55 to 6:35) and given the capability of the fireboard, the ability to know how long those steps were and total time of this cook is of interest. Kind of minimized the star of show. Looks like the Prime Rib came out great, however.
Every video I go look at the count down clock.
Today is the big day we start to take orders.
That prime rib looks terrible..I need you to vacuum seal it immediately and send it to me overnight, if not sooner😂
