bro undoing made changes to your computer problem how to fix? :>
Yes thank you bro
Yes
@@mdarisahmed9266 Could be many reasons my friend.
Is there any chance that after upgrading using this method microsoft detects that the PC doesn't meet the system requirements and then decide to stop updates in the new installation?
This worked great for me on an in-place upgrade for a VM. Lifesaver because I have about 30 to do. Thank you so much!!!
This worked perfectly on a older win10 PRO laptop. THANKS so much. And its fairly easy to perform whan you check every step exactly as told / shown in the video.
Excellent job! another straightforward how-to video .
Thanks!
Worked like a charm. Simple and easy. Thanks!
This method worked. 👍 thank you.
Brilliant work around.
it worked for me, thumbs up👍👍👍
WORKED THX BRO!!
Wonderfull video, you gained a sub. You deserve more! ♥
Thank you it's working great method 👍
Thank you so much! I'm not great with computers AT ALL so I had absolutely no clue what to do when I found out my PC wouldn't support Windows 11 since Windows 10 is getting removed. This was super easy to follow even for me!
My pleasure!
Amazing 🤩
thanks bro , its really helfull for me . 🥰
It works great , the whole process took maybe 15-20 minutes including download -perfect and many thanks . ( problem was Intel 4790K I7 - update didn't want to let me in, and now is everything OK )
Thanks broo saved my time🙏🏻
My dude thank you so much it was the simplest way I found to upgrade to 11. I just wish your vid was on the top.
Just want to say thank you. Just updated my 10 pro to 11pro in 30 Min on my main machine and could not be easier.
Your directions could not be more straightforward.
Anyone on the fence..don't be it works, its simple and straightforward zero stress
Thanks for your awesome feedback, appreciate it!
Nice! Thank you!
Thank you too!
Worked great on my HP Spectre. Thank you.

Thanks so much!
Works perfectly. And also is very easy to do

THANKS BRO IT WORKED ❤
Flawless and I purchased via your Amazon link. Many thanks! 👏
Awesome, thank you so much!
@@memstechtips You are very welcome!
Impressive :)
Thanx for that. Works well. I surprized that Microsloth hasn't crippled this method by changing the compatibility file to something else. They seem obsessed by stopping people upgrading perfectly good PCs and helping the PVC manufacturers sell more new PCs.
You're a bad ass, ty
Finally a good tut dub bro 🔥
it worked.. you deservee more likes and subs
thanks buddy
That is great.
Glad you like it!
The method works. Please note though that getting the systemlocale using cmd/powershell is not exactly accurate as it may show the region you've switched to rather than that of the old iso used for the previous installation, which is the region you should be looking to match in order to keep all your apps & files. The default local can be found in
settings // time & language // language & region // windows display language
Thanks for this.
thx for your help u deserv a sub

Ok so let's say the install works. What happens when updates are rolled out? Will those succeed or fail? Do you anticipate any issues with the 24H2 release?
Normal updates still work perfectly fine, but future upgrades ex. from 23H2 to 24H2 will need to be installed manually the same way I show in this video. I would wait for 24H2 to be released for a month or 2 before I install it.
@memstechtips got it. That will breathe new life into several excellent machines that merit keeping. Thanks!
Idk how but windows 11 really sped up my asus x553m laptop thanks😊
Thanks for this. Once it is installed, are you still able to install Windows updates?
Yes it still works 🙂
You could just download the ISO and mount it.
Bring up Command Prompt as admin.
CD to the drive that is the ISO file and then setup /product Server and that will bypass the normal setup checks.
I used this option to upgrade my Windows 10 install on Bootcamp.
I just uploaded to Windows 11 24H2 this way.
No Reg hacks or modifications to the install image files needed.
Thanks for sharing! I also have a video on my channel that shows the exact method you are describing here, but it's not as popular for some reason.
@@memstechtips whats the video pls
Question. Doesnt rufus allow you to do the same as well as the requirement for a ms account etc ?
Yes it definitely does, like I show in this video here: czcams.com/video/XyXS4ny7WzM/video.html
I have a windows 11 install DVD. Would the example given work if I used it for the install rather than the downloaded ISO file?
I'm sure it will work yeah, but I would just use the ISO file as it's the latest version of Windows 11.
The main issue I have with this is associating all .dll files to notepad, if you only need to open the one file then there's no need and could lead to confusion in the future.
True, I didn't think of that tbh. Thanks for pointing it out.
@@memstechtips You could also delete the DLL file and make a empty text file with the same name. Save you the time to install 7zip
Does it let you get updates from Microsoft for Windows 11
FYI My result from 0:59 said "English US" but the download would not keep my files. I downloaded again using "English International" and it then kept all my files and apps.
I downloaded iso 23h2 and found that they are nolonger there I was able to install windows without tricks I guess they removed them only pops up on upgrading
Will you be doing an install 24h2 video
Yes I will do for sure and you can keep an eye on the channel for that. I just don't have the time to jump on it as fast as the other CZcamsr's cause I got kids and a full time job, but will get it done soon!
I love you tky
Yeehaaa 1000 likes with mine. I felt such a power doing this
lol, glad you like it!
Its been a week do you facing any crash, error or blue screen error coz i have a unsupported laptop i installed W11 but its crashes all time then i reinstalled W10 pls give your feedback...
I don't have any issues with it...
Does this method avoid bitlocker encryption of the c: drive?
Yes, AFAIK, Microsoft has said that the Auto Bitlocker Encryption is only applicable to clean installs of Windows 11 24H2 and you have to sign into a Microsoft Account as well.
I don't understand why we're deleting the copied .dll content of the appraiserres then writing over it with a Save with no data? I know it's still on the clipboard, but is this how it removes all of the Windows 11 restrictions?
Yeah you can't delete the file, but deleting the contents removes the restrictions. Don't ask me how lol.
I don't have TPM 2.0 so I want to know if there are problem with working after installation Windows 11.
I don't have it either and I didn't have any issues.
@@memstechtips thank you very much :) Have a nice day :)
After installation, can you still do automatic updates?
Yes, normal Windows updates will still work, but major upgrades, like to version 24H2 for example, will have to be installed manually.
What are the downsides to installing Windows 11 on a computer that Windows 11 says is not compatible?
As far as I know, there aren't really any, it still works, but it's not recommended by Microsoft.
When I used this method , windows security did have a problem in the newly installed system. I'm not sure why though
Not sure either... Windows updates should fix it?
Do i have to buy a new product key for the win 11? my win10 home is already activated
No it will auto activate.
Sir can you help me 😭🙏. I have the windows 11 leaked build (22996 something) how can I get to the 22h2 build
I'm not sure I can help with that. Can't you just use the normal official 23H2 iso file?
@@memstechtips I didn't know it would work but I just tried it and it worked
@@memstechtips thanks a lot 🙏
I'm not sure why people want to upgrade to Windows 11 when it's actually worse than Windows 10. I have a laptop computer that came with Windows 11, so I'm using it on my laptop, but I also have a desktop computer that has Windows 10 on it, and I am keeping Windows 10 on it until MS support runs out next year. The desktop computer meets all the requirements for Win 11, but there's no reason to upgrade it. One thing I don't like about Windows 11 is the Secure Boot and TPM. Last year I tried replacing the SSD in my laptop with one that had more capacity, and when I put the new one in and tried booting off a flash drive to reinstall Windows on the new SSD, it was blocked by Secure Boot. Also you have to turn off Bitlocker drive encryption and decrypt your drive before replacing it. I've been upgrading computers for 30 years or more, and Windows 11 is the first time I got blocked like that. So my advice is to stay with Windows 10 as long as possible, or try Linux if you are done with Microsoft.
Because eventually, all the software you use (such as Steam) won't support Windows 10 anymore, as I'm finding out with Windows 8.1 now. But since you raised the question, I don't know why you all 'updated' from Windows 7 to Windows 10 in the first place. If you had all just defied Micro$oft instead of jumping all over each other for the 'latest and greatest' which isn't any greater than what you had before, I wouldn't be in this predicament. I also wouldn't put it past Micro$oft to deliberately introduce security flaws into future FORCED Windows 10 updates just to scare you into moving on. Just like herding sheep or cattle out of the nice green peaceful paddock which they called home and onto a truck heading to the abattoir. Luckily, I dual boot to Linux Mint so care factor very low.
@@bradl7439 It will take loooong time until the support ends if you just think about how similar the core in windows 11 is compared with 10
@@bradl7439 I like Windows 10, because it was relatively easy to make it look like Windows 7, which I also liked, and Windows 10 had some significant improvements over 7. However, as you said, eventually we will all have to move on from Windows 10, once Microsoft drops support for it. When that happens, I'll have to decide between a future version of Windows or Linux. I've already tried Mint and also Zorin OS. I liked Zorin a little better than Mint, but both are eminently useable, even for a Linux newbie like me.
I like this discussion!
I also still use Windows 10 at home and work, but the nearing support for Windows 10 has to get me looking at Windows 11 a little closer. I have looked at Linux but it doesn't do everything I need in Windows with regards to gaming performance and video editing software etc. So I can't move to it full time, althought I do like it.
I'm currently doing research on creating super minimal Windows 11 (and 10) ISO files which will almost be like the LTSC versions in terms of preinstalled software.
Also, Alan, on Windows 11 you can use Open Shell to get a Windows 7 type of start menu completely for free and it works great, I install it for all of my elderly clients (not that I'm saying you're old ). You can watch this video about it if you want - czcams.com/video/FUKq31zinkM/video.html
@@memstechtips Thanks--I'll give that a try.
Im getting the error message 0xC1900101 - 0x30018. The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_SPECIALIZE operation. I have gotten similar failed first and second boot messages trying other methods as well. Any ideas?
I'm sorry but I actually don't have any idea how to fix that. You will need to try doing a clean install of Windows 11 but you will lose all of your apps and files in the process.
@@memstechtips I'll try it. Thanks for the quick response!
@@memstechtips I found the fix, just had to install the Realtek network adapter first. Apparently the included Windows 11 driver doesn't play nice with older hardware. czcams.com/video/UJ8syAvPHKU/video.html
Can I click 'download updates...' instead of 'not right now'?
Yes you can, it shouldn't make a big difference.

Hello, is it possible to install the windows 11 home version?
Yes it all depends on your current Windows edition. If you have Win 10 or 11 Home installed it will automatically detect it and install the Home version again.
Fine thank you very much.
It doesnt work here. When i click on setup, a unexpected error ocurred
You might need to download the ISO file again, something could be corrupted.
Are you going to make a video on the upgrade requirements for Linux? Oh, wait...
lol
will i get updates on win 11 in future
Yes
So I did the same method and it says error applying disc image
Sorry to hear, haven't seen that before...
This seems like many steps. I just did the registry change, mounted ISO and installed. I didn’t even have to reboot.
What did you change in the registry
@@LPgmxDan Just removing the tpm and processor requirements. But now that I see this video again, it is basically the same thing on the installer side.
Yeah, there are many different ways these days to bypass the requirements. I think this is one of the easiest and least steps. Some people don't like fiddling with the registry.

Linux Mint is too good to be missed and it's FREE!
My Lenovo laptop is too old to load an official version of Windows 11 so I built a new desktop PC with Windows 11.
Went to use the PC for the the 1st time - move taskbar to top of screen but it will not let me, increase height of taskbar to suit my needs - will not let me.
I no longer need to use Windows for anything so will be dual-booting to Linux initially and then dump Windows when I'm comfortable with Linux.
I've been using Windows since its introduction in 1985.
Linux is a good alternative for basic computer use at the moment, it just doesn't do everything as well as Windows does. Hopefully that changes.
Did not work. Went through the entire setup and then failed and restored the prior version back.
Sorry to hear... 😢
This didn’t want to work for me, it gave me an error code instead!
Sorry to hear...
Recent revelations show that Windows 11 could violate people's privacy in a big way.
So why would anyone want Windows 11, vs Windows 10?
If you're referring to Recall, it won't affect most people (for now) due to it only being available on the latest PC's. Personally, I think Windows 10 invades your privacy just as much as Windows 11. You just don't know about it.
@@memstechtips Nobody else in the expert IT community has ever said that Windows 10 violates privacy just as much as 11. Is that just your personal theory, without any evidence?
Doesn´t work with betas isos
Like 24H2 at the moment? Like insider preview?
Do not upgrade to 11 if you play LOL, they are also using TPM2 as part of the anticheat system so refuses to work :(
what happens when you play shitgames
Dammit! How did you work that out? lol
I didn't work it out lol, I saw it from another source so I can't take the credit for it. I just decided to share it with you guys as well.
How to bypass secure boot

Windows just craps on itself.
Does this actually work
Yep, just did it.
I tried and its not worked
Awesome!

The power of a simple text file .....Microsoft must have some really lazy coders working on this new OS which in itself proves how bad this future OS 11 truly is.
I will move to Linux Mint or Zorin free version after 2025 full time .....I will use it for basic online browsing to emails and word documents until I get to know the system well enough to make it do more.
The main thing to understand before making such a change is to take stock of all the applications you use on Windows then see if they work through wine or bottles on Linux or at best find a good enough alternative open source program that you can live with.
For gamer's GPU Hardware like AMD is better supported if your into games and Steam is now starting to make more games available for Linux .....NVIDIA or external sound cards to Bluetooth and Wifi may require some extra reading to get them working right but Linux has come a long way since the early 2000's and has updated many of these drivers in recent releases.
I have a custom Mint running on 1 older laptop and Zorin on another for testing purposes and learning and they run faster and better then my Win 10 OS lol
It is never easy to switch from one OS to another without having to re-learn some basic new commands and understand the slightly different GUI but just like when we went from IBM clone 8080 dos systems of the 80s to Win 3.1 32 bit fat file systems we learned by trial and error and a lot of reading !!!!!!!!!!!!!! READ MORE FOLKS and the world is yours to command.
Nice little trick you found out here mate well done......I often find these little tricks by mistake whenever I am looking for ways to cheat the system ha ha ha fair game I say cheers
I didn't find it out myself, but thanks! Yeah for basic computer use, Linux will work great. But for gaming, video editing, content creation and those type of stuff, it just doesn't do what I need right now.
@@memstechtips Your very welcome great topic really enjoyed it perhaps in time Linux will one day be able to run all software
wont let me download
Strange...
FFS! It doesnt work. I alwys get the same message no matter what method I do! 'Sorry, we're having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows 11. Please close Setup and try again'
Check if this works - czcams.com/video/48uTLJENU58/video.html
@@memstechtips Thanks. I got to where it says to accept the terms, but when I click next, it says 'We cant tell if your PC is ready to continue installing windows. Try restarting setup'
Don’t just don’t
OK
can i kill my pc when i do this
Nope, don't think so.
Easiest way.....Install Linux.
🤣
Yeah, if you want a SLOW running windows on your PC if it even runs LOL
As long as you have an SSD it should be fine.
MS must have a lot of competent programmers doing awesome BS the whole day.
Or maybe no time for serious coding, because they have to sit the whole day in useless meetings to make the agile/scrum/product-managers owners and whatever job-titles happy.
Deleting contents of a binary without causing an error - great, the same super-coders who will give you mandatory security updates and shove "reliable" AI's onto your system.
Seriously, why does anyone want to upgrade to this crap ?
That is a pretty good point you're making.
Hey man. Does this work with Windows 11 24H2?
I'm not sure, only tried on 23H2
