Those pots on these converters aren't very precise. you'd have to change them for dual setup (coarse/precise) if you really want to control it propertly. They also heat up a lot and sellers often give clickbaity titles of their wattage ratings but other than that - yeah - I did exactly that - a very basic lab psu with volt amp meter combo added to it (which I use to charge my eletric skateboard 99% of the time, lol)

Output voltage will fluctuate only if input voltage fluctuates below 12v

Low current from source of input can cause this. For instance, if you connect an adapter of 27V 2.5A to the input , you can sometimes experience this because the input current of 2.5A is small. This depends on the capacity of battery you are charging

this is a buck converter so input and output power (W) is the same,
it acts as increase volt & decrease amp
and increases amp & decrease volt,
V*I=W

@@citratrilaksana768 I think, it is indicating short circuit not over current. Current has already limited by the potentiometer setting.
This led turns blue when a load like battery to be charged is connected to the output, and it turns red when power is supplied to the converter. And again turns red when the connected battery is fully charged. When used for battery charging it cuts off voltage when battery is fully charged

In a video you used DC adaptor 24VDC 6 Ampere, and you brought potentiometer back to initial input voltage that's 24VDC and opened the potentiometer of current to 9.9 amperes how can you increase amperes In stepdown Module ?
