You know the redstone contraption is complicated when it has an end portal frame
@@PotatoSofi Beacon is both transparent and immovable iirc, also easier to get ^^
@@pg5200 Hoppers are even easier if the powering doesn't update any buds or observers
@@adicsbtw Oh that's right. Easier but laggier (or are them ? I have no idea how much lag an unlit beacon causes)
I think after about 140 hours of *this* I would also forget about the number 12
Me happy with my 200 block 3x3
New challenge: the most uncompact piston door. At some point you are going to struggle to keep all the chunks loaded.
Bro went "Fine ill do it myself"
I would definitely be interested in deep dive door explanations videos on a second channel. There's not really much advanced stuff I could find online on zero-tick doors besides just knowing it or asking around communities so having a good source I could comb through at my own pace is so helpful.
didnt understand a single thing, but hearing your 'uhuhu nice' and 'yoo! that works' when something works is absolutely amazing. Be proud of that door, a LOT of people could never come up with that. Greetings from the community Network :D
The way he says "yoo!" Reminds me of technoblade. Rip technoblade 🪦💐
2nd channel with 2 hour long explanations PLEASE
To the people who don’t do this type of redstone this door may seem impressive.
But the truth is, it’s even better than you think. Gfg dude, peak door making right here.
Redstone is the closest thing to actual magic, a human can ever achieve.
This is one of the doors of all times and the redstone wiring is beautiful
Seeing the words "peak door making" really puts into perspective how niche this whole thing really is, pretty cool.
You've gone down in a small part of the history of a part of minecraft, one of the most popular video games in the world. fucking congratulations, insane creation. i dont need to know redstone to know you've done amazing work
You know a redstone build is crazy when there is wood and leaves
That's just for causing updates. When a log touches same type of leaves, it updates the leaves and observer can detect the update.
You're really improving quickly at video creation, it's good to have truly high quality piston door content after so long
also i wonder how many people in the piston door community actually recognise the swearing censor sound from blast processing
@@KawaqiiV2 dude literally why are you here
also upload a new vid already and STOP REUPLOADING FFS
The Animation is simultaneously beautiful and cursed, you love to see it.
20:17 You can hear the tears in his voice.
Dude this build is insane, glad you finnished it.
I'd love deep dives into the doors! I'm still learning when it comes to door tech, so seeing the process and understanding how you go about creating one of these things would be so useful. Great video as always!
utterly insane. This is probably the most impressive showcase of technical know-how I've ever seen, Bravo
Absolutely incredible door. I've dabbled loosely in redstone but I love watching videos like this and just seeing the magic redstoners manage to do
I love this. I don't understand jack, but i still love this.
I would love a zero tick series, I understand the theory behind zero ticks but have been too lazy to get into em, this would give me that push i need to venture from computational redstone!
13:14 second channel for that would be goated
For those wondering, the text that flashes at 5:13 says “Ok so in practice this didn’t make the sequence any more difficult so I don’t really know why I said it did. This is because the “storage” pistons for the folds already add the extra block event delay so they’re bound to happen after the pusher.” (edited out typos)
The ratchet and clank music in the beginning really bringing back memories.
Your in depth video's with ghost power pistons made me understand redstone enough to fix other peoples farms and redstone and being able to fix my own circuits. I would love to see a series where you would go in depth more (or seperate channel)
I definitely think the 2nd channel for explainers is a cool idea. I make some of my own 0-Tick doors (nothing near this level) and I think having explanations for some of the best 0-tick redstone would be really helpful for learning and getting better.
Also, this door is incredible. Great work!
12:38 bruh why is there an end portal frame 💀
End portal frames are useful as placeholders while the build is in progress, as they don't conduct power and are unpushable. They are removed before the final build.
@@tweakr4377 Yes, except they are more laggy, add more visual clutter through the book, and may blend in a bit better.
@@hentloll1370 yeah, I figured the book animation would be the main difference. Thanks for confirming!
Dont know for others but I am interested in a second channel :)
That's perfect I was waiting for a 9x9 to build in survival, good job!
definitely the most underrated channel
always a fun time when my door gets possessed by the clock demon
The door is really impressive. Its so fast and so small, but the animation is poison. A small sacrifice for an improvent
Killer door man that's a perfect size/speed ratio. And nothing better than finally finishing a big door project like that!
now this is a new level of video for you man, i think we can all see how much effort you've put into this. I love it!
This guy is like the only Minecraft redstoner that makes such complex doors and actually makes good videos too lol. Love the content
I would love to see a second explanation channel, but I would also love just a video going over some of the basics... I have no idea how 0 tick pistons work...
The fact that i understand like a TINY bit makes me a happy lol
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE an in depth dive into these builds and how it all works
I don’t think a lot of people comprehended how insane 140 hours is because we’re so used to seeing big numbers like that. Imagine getting on Minecraft every single day for 4 hours, and even that would take over a month. That’s dedication
Redstone computers seem trivial in comparison. Amazing work.
I would love to see some trapdoor designs ranging up from 1x1 to 10x10. If those even exist, they are pretty overlooked
as a person trying to learn redstone, the second channel would be so cool
Please make the explanation video. I love seeing how these doors work.
I would really love having explaining videos. Because I realized I loved 0 tick so much but I still have so many things to learn !
Also I was the guy questioning your about ABBAs in crafty's server and I think it would be more convenient to watch an explaining video that asking question on a discord server.
friend: i'm not that good at redstone, i just built a simple door to my base
also friend:
You know it’s great red stone when they use logs, leaves, and lightning rods in it💀
the blast processing censor sound is hilarious and awesome omg
Amazing door
Please do the second channel thing I’ve been trying to do 0-tick stuff and i would love to have actual knowledge about it
The amount of times I’ve realized I’ve built something wrong or broken a circuit I thought I could make better only to fail, and then instinctively tried to hit ctrl-z. Best mod
17:36 "Imagine if it worked"
Yep. imagining is all you can do sometimes
POV survival friendly door
I really appreciate how you tell us how much time you sink into these. That makes me feel better about spending tens or a hundred hours on something.
You should make a channel describing your 0 tick doors. Ive been getting back into redstone, but the lack of explanation for 0 tick doors has made it hard to get into more complex 0 tick concepts
the reset animation adds so much aura to how complicated it is
bro, thats actually insane... you just made history, CONGRATS, be PROUD.
I'm sure youre a genius, keep it up man
I don't play minecraft any more but keeping up with redstone is so inspirational. I'm learning to become a software engineer now because of how much fun I had with redstone as a kid.
Second channel sounds great! I'd really like to learn more details about these redstone projects
Epic door, nice work!
avogaado: "The door is supposed to be survival-friendly!"
also avogaado: *uses endportal frame in the wiring...*
damn. this reminds me of that one time that i made a 1x2 door that folds into the wall and was so proud of myself while my friend watched. beautiful mechanics
You’ve earned what CZcamsrs commonly refer to as “Please subscribe if you haven’t already!”
Jokes aside, as a person who knows nothing about redstone, this was pretty enjoyable to watch. I’d love to see a second channel with explanations, that would be pretty cool.
One question I have is, what songs are used in the video? Do you have a list or playlist you could link/send? If not that’s understandable. Thanks in advance!
This kind of stuff is so impressive. Good job.
You're actually goated
Wow. He uses the bad piggies theme for background and blast processing sound effect every time he curses. And his language use is kinda similar to me. Keep it up man!
Thank you for being my gateway drug for 0 ticks Avogaado, wish there was more online information about them. Banger video too, the compactness with speed is such a pleasant combo
100% make a second channel, a lot of people are scared to take that step due to hits taken to view counts and whatnot, but it's definitely the right way to go. Capture different audiences, get involved in a different editing process and general production pipeline.
Love the Blood Borne track at the end. Also cool door ig : ]
Congratulations on making the best 9x9 :]
I'd love the second channel
I have almost no idea what’s happening but I am glued to
I would love to see your second channel, I struggle to find some videos about advanced redstone that actually explains things instead of just showing things up. Love your stuff as always !
bad piggies building song slapping hard
redstone doors and the persona 5 soundtrack. 2 of the best things our society have produced
YO. that bleep out using the blast processing sound was funny as hell
dude bad piggies music was on point
15:54 AMAZING REFERENCE
amazing vid, i’d love to see you make a second channel with explanations on your doors!
Finally there is a really good fast and small 9x9
it's ok, after that unhealthy amount of redstone people start to forget the number 12 XD
Awesome door avo!!!
Great video! (and door ofc)
I think it will be really helpfull if you make a video-tutorial "How to become a redstone engineer", where you explain your minecraft setup (mods, couple of most useful commands of these mods) and most usefull redstone components (i mean clocks, special wirings through glass / slabs, noteblocks or target blocks and how to use it etc), how to switch quick slots items list, and maybe provide some intresting challenges for viewers. Something newbee-friendly ❤
INSTANT SUBSCRIBE! i can't explain how much i love videos like this.
mahtavaa!
I'm in love with your "yo, that works", need 10h version of this lmao
for those who don't know what it says at 5:13 (its a really hard frame pause for some reason)
Ok so in practice this didn't make the sequenze any more difficult so I don't really know why I said it did. This is because The "storage" pistons for the folds already add the extra block event delay so they're bound to happen after the pusher
Wow finally its out! you did a real good job avo!!! keep it up
I heard ratchet and clank music, my mood got a boost
Whoah, redstone doors never fail to impress me again and again!
15:16 Me writing code: "i did not think it was possible for it to break this badly"
guess i gotta build this now ! great job :)
Amazing door, what I understood was all just beautiful!
Nicely done!
Buddy really put bad piggies music in his redstone video
Bro avogaado can do really crazy and cool things, but i struggle to even make my own 3x3 piston door design because of the center block
Bloody well done, excellent door and brilliant video. Second channel is a cool idea too, would love to see it!
It’s beautiful
Would love an indepth channel! Great video. Your improving a lot at video making
The GD Blast Processing sound as a censor is really funny, ngl
Now this is exactly what I expect from a professional redstoner, didn't understand a single word
True lol
Something about doors I guess 😂
Yeah but, redstone door makers are an _entirely different_ breed of technical minecraft player. Most TMC players tend to make their design mostly understandable and fixable, while redstone doorists focus on sheer optimization, be their designs being readable or not :P
yea right, it is 1:30 AM out here and im watching this without understanding shit.... the entire video seems like an introduction until i finally see the door working and call it a day
I really hope you could at least understand when he used the word “the” or “and”.
