This video is completely for beginners.
In this video I have covered some basics commands of Linux you should know, which will be very helpful for you in many places, no matters if you are a developer, tester, tech support etc you will somehow interact with Linux servers and terminal.
In this video I have covered from totally basics
- How you can practice Linux commands on your Windows machine using Ubuntu app which is very light weight app.
How to:
- Make directory or folder in Linux using mkdir command
- Change directory in Linux using cd command
- Create file in Linux using vi command
- Edit file in Linux
- Copy file in Linux using cp command
- Delete file, folder in Linux rm command
- Use grep command to search for keywords in your file
- pwd command
- To see all the files and folder present in current location and see the last updated
- To read file in Linux using cat or less command
- date command
- check hardware specs using lscpu command
- history command
- Operations in file like - go to bottom of file in linux, go to top of file, search inside file in upward and downward direction.
