  • In this video we continue on from Part 1 leaving Perlubie Beach and head off to explore the beautiful rugged coastline around Streaky Bay. We checkout Cape Bauer, Whistling Rocks and Blowholes. We run into some trouble on some soft sand before we head further south along the coast to Smooth Pools. We set up camp at the beautiful Speeds Point with some magnificent views. The weather gets wild! We head in land t escape the winds and check out Murphy's Haystacks before hitting the coast again to check out Talia Caves . we continue down the coast to Elliston and check out some cool sculptures. We finish this video in Coffin Bay where we try our hands at catching dinner... again... Enjoy!

    Love your videos, awesome photos. When we travel the Eyre Highway we are so focused on where we need to get to that we don't allow time to explore the beautiful landscape you guys are portraying. Cant' wait to travel over again but this time we will definitely be slowing down and stopping to smell the roses. Safe travels keep the good work coming and a Merry Christmas to you both. Love this Country.

      Couldn’t agree more! I (Mitch) spent a lot of time over on the EP with family but we never checked out the amazing sights and camping available! It’s been great getting over there and being a tourist! Have a great Chrissy and new year Enzo!

    How are you finding travelling with your dog? Are there many places you couldn't get into with the pooch?

      We get asked this all the time, we love travelling with Jarrah, he’s good company, but yes it is restrictive especially through National Parks

    Nice vid and beautiful scenes, but please set a better example. Not lowering tyre pressure is the major reason that beaches and beach entry tracks get cut up, and too often these days closed. Getting bogged is not the consequence to worry about!

    • @Wanderingaus_adv
      @Wanderingaus_adv  Před 3 lety

      Gday Drew
      We agree and as we said we usually are very selective and careful when driving on beaches, this time we blindly followed the advice of others and got caught out.
      Thanks Drew have a good festive season!

    Another great vid. I’d love to visit the places you guys visit but my wife is not so keen to sit in a car and tour the wilderness, so you’re quite fortunate that you can do this together. Anyway, never say never, for now I like following your adventures and dream that maybe one day.......

    Where does the fur baby sleep

    • @Wanderingaus_adv
      @Wanderingaus_adv  Před 3 lety

      Depends, mostly up in the roof top tent with us, but sometimes he sleeps outside. It depends where we are, if they are dingos around or other animals and the weather. If it’s raining he’s comes up top, if it’s hot he likes to stay down outside

    Great vid guys. I love Coffins and all around that area. Go there a few times a year and heading over tomorrow.
    Though I must say. If you can’t catch a fish around Coffins. Maybe you should sell your fishing equipment.
    Only joking
    Merry Christmas to you both👍

    • @Wanderingaus_adv
      @Wanderingaus_adv  Před 3 lety +1

      Haha a harsh but probably fair call!
      Although normally we do get on the end of few around coffins.
      From all accounts we arrived on a dodge tide so we weren’t alone in our untouched hooks

    The lid of a cast iron camp oven is designed to be a fry pan as well.

    • @Wanderingaus_adv
      @Wanderingaus_adv  Před 3 lety +1

      True true, harder to hear with the handle on some designs, let’s be honest any made in a camp oven spun steel or otherwise taste better then if it’s not 👌🏼👌🏼
