- I am opening a 3-box case of 2022 Leaf Stitches & Slabs Basketball for our next sports card pack break/product review! These boxes combine memorabilia with sports cards providing 1 signed custom jersey and 1 slabbed buyback card in every box. These boxes currently resell in the $350-400 range. This product comes with chances at pulling autographed jerseys of NBA legends/superstars (Michael Jordan, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Zion Williamson, Anthony Edwards, LaMelo, Nikola Jokic, Jalen Green) and a wide variety of slabbed buyback cards (PSA, BGS, Topps Chrome, Panini Prizm, Fleer, autos)! This is definitely an interesting concept…as long as there’s some super star jersey’s to get…I feel like a lot of these mystery boxes make pulling a super star to rare

Most yes but there are a few reputable boxes but as long as the worst items are listed as a possible pull, you know if the box is potentially worth it

Love watching these mystery boxes opening. The Giannis auto is nice!!! Jersey though, eehhhhh lol. They could at least have a nice authentic jersey to get signed.
Honestly, the first 2 boxes were better than I expected for this type of product.
I'm just curious what those "custom" signed jerseys (with JSA COA) sell for in comparison to a real jersey. The Jokic blank front is definitely weird (& worst of the three), with the Mutombo being the closest to passable.

The athletes are not handed the actual jersey to sign, they are given a box full of number patches. They sign the number patch, which is then authenticated- not the jersey as a whole. The number patch is then sewn onto a customer jersey and sold "as a jersey". If you look up the authentication in the system, it should read " Signed number" not "Signed Jersey"-- Pretty interesting
I enjoy the memorabilia videos. I have watched to get into mystery boxes for these. Good information. Those boxes I would pay around $200. More than that doesn’t make a lot of sense for the custom jerseys

The jerseys are made to be framed or in a display case. The front doesn’t matter since it won’t be seen. Everything important and intended to be seen is on the back. Don’t understand why that’s a problem or bad thing.

I have a 1/1 Amari Cooper RC auto BGS 10. The auto grade 10 moves around just like yours.
I understand how you got the first box (which was great) but how do you know the next two won't be as good? Does Leaf know which boxes are good and which are not as good and send you two "ok" boxes along with a good box? Wouldn't this defeat the purpose of random boxes?

Not sure the price you paid for these but as a collector someone who does it for the passion for sports it’s a really cool product review. Usually mystery stuff sucks haha but giannas, jokic, gervin and matumbo autos. Keep up the cool and fresh content !

For the product to state a "slabbed buyback card" doesn't that mean it should be graded? The Bane wasn't even graded.

I absolutely love all the mystery boxes and repacks but I also absolutely hate these "custom" jerseys. I consider them to be fake jerseys and to have a awesome player sign that crap is ridiculous. I wouldn't support that personally.

Agreed. Not a fan of custom jerseys. Even if it’s framed and you can’t see the whole jersey, having a framed custom jersey is the same as slabbing a reprint/fake card that looks real lol definitely worse than the real thing
