I love the relationship Alex and Meredith have formed. He agreed to be her person when Christina left and kept his word. He was always there for Mer no matter what. Even when Derrick died and she took the kids and ran, when she ignored all his calls for almost year, and never told anyone about her being pregnant; as soon as he heard she needed him he was there. It’s not romantic (if it was I feel like it would ruin it) it’s a sweet sibling/family love

Meredith could of had a stroke. That stroke lead her into a coma where she dreamt up all the seasons since before Derek 's death. When she wakes up...Derek 's there with the kids more grown up....George didn't die....all the rest....but she doesn't remember Derek, she doesn't remember her kids, nor being a surgeon....she learns who she is in the next seasons.....her adventure is finding herself again.....the end of season show is leaving to find herself again..on her terms..... sounds like a good idea for a script to me.....its TV ANY of that kind of stuff is possible with TV ..awww the joy of fantasy...writing.....
