I stayed at the Yoho twice. Once in 1999 in college and then again 2005 when I went to Oktoberfest and just took the train over and back. It was such a special and fun place!
The bar is awesome too!

Hostels on Europe are pretty premium! The ones I've stayed at are better than many hotels I've visited in the USA.

Are there showers or just bathrooms?

I didn't shower here personally, so i dont remember- but i believe the towel rental is for using the shower!I tried checking their site but it doesnt clearly state showers are there.. I'll ask my friends who were with me if they remember :)
