You can do it with a curling iron just set in the same fashion with clips

Absolutley beautiful! If you walked down the street heads would turn. May I ask if in the future you plan on getting a microphone? You speak so softly, and my sound is cranked all the way, but you are still a little too soft.
What would the result be if the hair was rolled all over in standing pin curls only? Would the side and back curls get smushed while sleeping??
You could use rollers if you want to maintain the stand up position. The result would produce more waves on the back if you do more than two rows of curlers. I’ll have to test with rollers. Standing curls could work is you can set on dry in the morning but yes sleeping would crush them.

Is the bob all one length? Or are the bangs shorter?
You can have either your just don’t want the bangs longer ( like the asymmetrical style)

Is your hair slightly wet the entire process? Did you do any drying?
It’s slightly damp when rolling and dries over night 😉

Yes I definitely recommend using sone product to hold the curls. Even a mouse
