I was born in 1970 too. As a little kid in the ‘70s we had awesome Saturday morning cartoons plus all the Sid and Marty Kroft Saturday morning shows. That stuff is pretty cheesy now when I look back on it, but my brother and I LOVED that stuff back then! And there was The Incredible Hulk and the Six Million Dollar Man, among many other classic tv shows. Then my middle school and high school years were in the ‘80s with the best rock and metal!!!! I joined marching band in high school and became a drummer and would come home from school and jam to all this great music! So glad my childhood and teen years were in the ‘70s and ‘80s!!!

Every time I saw them in person, my ears were ringing for two days after. The whole stadium would shake. If you had floor seats, you could feel the floor vibrating under your feet like an earthquake. I grew up listening to them and got to see them in their prime...Always a high energy concert where they played their hearts out. I don't know how they have any hearing at all at this point? They put on a phenomenal show and are a true metal band. I don't know if concerts will ever be like that again, as most new bands suck. Glad I got to enjoy some good music and experience so many concerts like this. Experiences are always more important than things. A Motley Crue concert is a priceless experience!

I'm now 56, saw them for the first time in 1984 shortly after the Ozzy Tour when they started headlining. I've seen them 40 times all together, last time in 2015 obviously.
Seen a few bad shows from them over the years, but most of them were awesome.

They were one of the bands where hot girls and bad guys liked them..that is partly how they remained popular. I was in 9th grade when their last classic album came out which was dr. feelgood. .they were more popular than ever at that point. then the 90s came and those bands (aside from van halen, metallica , and guns and roses) kind of imploded. they put stuff out in the 90s , but they never reached the heights they did in the 80s. they have some authentic great 80s rock and I am glad young people like yourself keep the bands I love alive. @@sghyandal No he didn't .. he just took entire credit for the songs , because he wrote the lyrics . He didn't write their hit riffs . Even Don Dokken has come forward "who knew Mick " from the bands start . Has said they came from Mick . As an example listen to the intro riff on Louder than Hell .. it's Ritchie Blackmore style . Deep Purple was one of Micks favorite bands . Also listen to the last part of the solo on Take me to the Top , Mick plays . It's from the solo on Highway Star . This stuff came from Mick and his influences not that Fraud Sixx .

@@SJ-ty5rw SJ ... as awful as it can sound ( also to me ), that toxic Nikki Sixx is the creator, songwriter, absolute CEO of the band. He plays guitar too, but only to create riffs. All riffs, sure the Wild Side riff, is his creation. Read THE DIRT. As I told you, it sounds insane that he could coordinate the band and write all, even if he almost died twice of heroin. Nikki was and is a very, very strong guy. A guy who could stop heroin cold turkey, and keep creating. A strong body, a strong mind. Not everybody can inflict so much damage to themselves, and be alive. He had the money, yes, but so had Scott, Bonham, Handrix, etc.
