In this video I go for a hike through the beautiful Hardcastle Crags in Hebden bridge UK, Wild camp at Blake Dean trestle bridge ruins and go for a wild swim in the magical Lumb Falls.
I was using the Aricxi peak 1 tent and aegismax ul sleeping bag.

Great content Gaz. I really liked the map detail you add to help viewers understand your route. I enjoyed your choice of music along with the low level POV dog cam. All-in-all a great video. I would like to see some more cooking when you set up camp, and maybe a few beer reviews or something, but that is personal choice. Keep up the good work!

I absolutely love Hardcastle crags, my grandma was from hebden bridge so I used to go up there for walks all the time as a kid to slurring rock and the fisherman's hut. We spread her ashes there last year.
I was there a month or so ago wild camping myself. I parked up near widdop gate, came down the stairs, turned right walking back towards the woods and walked around looking for a suitable spot. Rubbish strewn everywhere at the bottom of the sairs so I ended up cleaning the place up, the walk back up the stairs the next day with bags full of other people's beer bottles and rubbish plus my overpacked rucksack weighing 16kg about killed my legs for two days. 😂
I don't think I have ever vistied the waterfalls so will have to get back up and have an explore at some point.
One of my favourite places in the world Hardcastle crags.
