@@sbprime2483 totally agree, he's always trying to live up to Vic not realising Vic's every action is a contrivance. I suppose in that sense he possesses a twisted sincerity.

The irony of Shane being appalled at the cop killer when he and Vic are just that. That's to be expected from those two but even Claudette, the moral centre of the show, approves of their methods when it comes to cop killers. Such an awesome underrated TV show
well to be fair the cop they killed was a rat, nobody likes a rat.
Claudette was willing to look the other way to get results. Even by season 6 she still believed the strike team could be effective if it just had new leadership.
They were more than cop killers. They were conducting executions.
Claudette was so torn in that scene. She was disgusted by Vic's behavior, but she was equally disgusted by the cop killer.
I think more than that she knew consensus wasn't on her side.

I haven't watched The Shield, but is the entire police department in the show really that corrupt?
You hafta watch the entire program. There is a lot of on the edge stuff. Not everybody is good, not everybody is bad.

Why is Rotten Tomatoes pushing out trailers after trailers of OLD series like The Shield which got recommended by CZcams? It's just so annoying that I am considering selecting "Don't Recommend Channel" to deal with this stupid old trailers forever.

Because The Shield is better than anything on TV today. Maybe stick to watching Young Sheldon.
