A phrase that should stay in our mind and action from now on.
Being Eco-friendly wouldn't be an easy journey for us humans who have been used to plastic and other
other materials used for our daily chores.
Greenesta Global is a start-up by two young minds Mr.Akshay Kumar & Mr. Krishna Prasad who are Teaching aspirants.
They not only mould students but us adults as well.
We were given a few products to be promoted. (Our first product review).
The products shared with us were:
1. Baggase cup - Bagasse paper, a by-product of sugar cane. (The pulp for the making of this paper is a lignocellulosic fibrous material prepared by separating
cellulose fibres from fibre crops in this case the waste material left over from the process of squeezing sugar juice from sugar cane at sugar mills, this (& other fibrous plants) provide about 10% of paper pulp.
Should compostable cups end up in landfill, they will break down faster than a wood cup as they are plant based and will leave no harmful plastic behind.
2. Areca palm Plates & Cups
The use and throw Palm Leaf Plates / Natural Leaf Plates/ Areca Leaf Plates and Cups made out of Areca Leaf are 100% biodegradable and compostable.
These hygienic, non-odorous, non-toxic, light weight plates and cups made out of Areca leaf are environment friendly.
An economical disposable alternative for all catering occasions. These areca leaf plates and areca leaf cups need no wash.
3.Siali plates & cups
Siali plate has much more advantage over other leaf plates, like low cost, large size, hygienic, non-odorous, non-toxic, lightweight, heat resistant, natural and biodegradable .
The leaf plate stitching is a livelihood activity for tribal people in Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana states of India.
The plates are made into water and leak proof by sandwiching a low-density polyethylene (LDPE)-binding layer in between the leaves and the underlying cardboard paper or leaves. The cardboard paper is generally made from cotton and old cloths.

Very well presented with details in crisp and clear. Loved the initiative by Greenesta Global. As an automobile engineer, I can say vehicles are becoming more greener by the introduction of electric cars. When big industries like auto industries are trying to save the environment, we ourselves should do something like this. I would like to know more about taking a franchisee of Greenesta Global.
