- "Giving to the last drop." This video tells the story of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Florence, a reformed order holding true to the original Constitutions of St Madeleine Sophie Barat. Three nuns tell their individual stories, discuss their Order's charisms, and offer advice for discernment.
Mother Annie's zeal for the Lord is positively infectious. Her students are lucky to have her. She's a darn good painter too.

This was so interesting. It was pretty neat to listen to each Mother speak so excitedly about our Lord and about the joy they are experiencing being apart of him. Very refreshing.

I have watched many vocation vlogs, but rarely have I heard a religious order so clearly state the charism and how to look, to discern the path that Jesus wants us to take to Him.
Their apostolate of the education of the young is what makes these sisters so necessary.
Today more than ever children and teenagers are being subjected to a barrage of evil and deception on a par with pagan Rome
I was educated by these wonderful women at Forest Ridge Convent in Seattle WA.
The Religious of the Sacred Heart In the USA have completely gone off the rails.I hope one day soon you can open a Convent in the US.May Our Lord Bless you with many vocations!☺️

I pray the Sisters restore the Traditional Liturgy and fullness of the Religious Life as St Madeleine knew it. And I think they will. They say they want to be faithful to the original charism of their order but they’re not there yet. I’ll pray for them 🙏

Wonderfull to see so many young women called to religiouse life. you have my prayers. Sad though to see that in Italy (the seat of the Pope that there does not seem to be many Italian women deciding to join. But regardless it is still a wonderfull thing.
Thank God that they wear habit, even it's modified habit, It's still looks similar to original's.
So what can I ask..this is obsessional thinking. A lot of sisters have gone out of teaching leaving the fanatics to take over. I cannot fathom what half of them believe. Its lunatic to talk the way they do. Walking round claiming to be monstrances...they are in love with themselves.

Will someone explain to me the difference between a Mother Nun and a Sister Nun. I'm just curious.
There is no difference. The title Mother is indicative of the way they think of their role.
Actually there is a difference. Most religious orders reserve the title "Mother" for those who are in leadership roles, such as the mother superior of a convent, while the remaining members are called "Sister." But there are some exceptions.
When Mother Cabrini founded her order, the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, the title "Mother" was given to each fully professed sister because the foundress wanted the Italian immigrants, especially the children, to think of the sisters as mothers to them. That was later changed as a result of Vatican ll which removed the title of Mother and allowed the sisters to change their names in religion to their birth names. So, Mother Laurentzina became Sister Diane and Mother Elvira became Sister Dorothy. Soon after the order introduced the modified habit.

This community was established in 1992 and have the pride to call itself the "reformed" Society of the Sacrd Heart. However good and pious they are the charism of the Society resides in the congregation whose mother house is in Rome and their claim that St Madeleine Sophie Barat (they can't even pronounce her name properly) is tenuous. They sttaed they read the Pope's exhortations. They clearly never red the 1969 motu proprio of Paul VI which stated that the dressing of postulants as brides before receiving the habit was inappropriate as any bridal symbolism should be reserved for the profession of vows. Though I love the religious habit it's wise to remember that rhe habit does not make the nun, true sanctity requires no special clothing.
I disagree vehemently. The habit has a LOT to do with making the nun.
I respectively disagree with you. I was educated by this wonderful order in Ireland. Sadly they threw off the habit and quickly all of their charism. They no longer have nuns (maybe a few old) and convents are gone. So God Bless these wonderful nuns. Habit is important. So what if one mispronounced their founder's name
