I recently took Dr. Michael Fink’s course on MedBridge, Medical Screening and Differential Diagnosis - Systems Based Approach. This provided me 6 contact hours of medical screening and review of specific systems, which goes beyond the minimal necessary to fulfill my continuing education needs. I embrace my role as a Direct Access practitioner. Not only did I decide to take this course as a requirement, but also as a service to my patients as I’m trained in differentiating between systemic and musculoskeletal conditions.

My left kidney hurts so bad about 2 years ago they found a small kidney cyst but now I have been having horrible pain in the kidney and in my stomach bladder pressure and I have to urinate every second and I know it's not a uti I have had them plenty of times can a cyst grow larger over 2 years this pain just recently started 2 weeks ago

One would surmise that a percussion test like that would hurt regardless if it's a kidney disease or whether it's a muscular or skeletal pain.
I believe it would be the type of pain. Like if it's deep inside or if it's surface.
It’s definitely a different pain, when I had my kidney infection it felt like a stabbing pain vs a dull throbbing pain

Ribs are lower posteriorly bcz ribs from 8-10 anteriorly all connected to 7th rib in midline and 11th & 12th ribs are only located posteriorly so called “floating ribs” so u won’t find them anteriorly
He said 12 vertebrae I think
