First time I saw her was in the Pink Panther Peter Sellers movie "A Shot in the Dark". She was great in that role.

The first movie star sex symbol with a nice voice!!, though I love them both Elke sounds a hell of a lot better than Marilyn.

Dude. Doris Day.(She will be 96 years old, April 3rd.) Happy Birthday, Doris! Annette Funicello.(Rest, In Peace)
April Fool's!!! Elke Sommer's first movie role was 16 days, prior, to Annette's first movie role. Gotcha!

Elizabeth Taylor, although her singing voice was not quite as lovely, in my opinion. Judy Garland Oprah

I am aware that there are a lot of "Nobody's", on the Planet, but, this, is hardly the time and place for name calling.
(Belated) April Fool's!! This, is NOT hardly etc. Gotcha!

Elke Sommer -SO gorgeous - beautiful, but cute at the same time. And certainly not the worst singer ever. Terrible, but typical-for-its-time song, she did it total justice.

***** You're absolutely on the money about Elke. I first saw her w/Peter Sellers in "A Shot In The Dark" and just fell in love with her, though I don't think I've ever seen her this young. She was a knockout, and she certainly had a lot more class than these Lohans and Kardashians do today.

Justin Swartz couldn't agree more, Justin. Women, who were well known beauties_ actresses in the fifties and sixties and even the 70's were sexy and a little saucy but never vulgar never gross and wouldn't even dream of doing with their rear ends photographically, the nasty things Kim Kardashian has done with hers. Kardashian is also a mother now & should be ashamed that she clearly has no shame. I'm not a prude nor am i old fashioned, but seriously where has the class gone? I guess some of these women now never had it and never will, in fact, wouldn't know it if they sat on it with the huge behinds they are so notorious for.

+Justin Swartz ~ If your first exposure to Elke was in the film A Shot In The Dark, released in 1964, she was younger than she is in this Dean Martin segment in '68.

Love Elke, but if you really want to hear justice done to this song, listen to Dusty Springfield's version.

"I gotta get to the office"? I worked in quite a few offices during the 1960s and 70s but I NEVER worked in one where the men wore tuxedo's!!!

Maybe, his office is/was at a Dry Cleaning establishment. Gotta look good, in that line of work. You would be hanged, if you did not look good. Either way, Dean sure was pressed for time, in this skirt. skort. sketch
