Question for this video. For the analog mixer there’s a band under the mid frequency, and right above the low frequency, I believe he called it “Mid Gain” but I don’t really think he explained how to set the mid gain he just talked about setting the mids itself. How do you know the volume to put the mid gain? He explained it for drums I didn’t catch him explaining it for this video

Except not everyone is using a $6000-$10,000 digital mixer... I’m sure most people are using simple 3 band eq analog mixer. So this doesn’t help too much

The TF3 mixer in this video MSRP is $2500. If you shop around you can pick up a TF1 for around $1000 used. That should be in the reach of anyone who charges for their work and you don't have to buy Yamaha to go digital. It's not like he's using a Yamaha CL5 here...

It doesn't have to be the TF series, the same principle works on other digital mixers. I've used this technique on my Behringer X Air and it sounds much better than the way I usually set it up
