The solar flare thing could end civilization as we know it. Casualty saying that grids being knocked out internationally is like casually saying a bullet could go through your head. The solar flare thing is a major possibility. Thats how i found this video

Usually, low latitude aurora are cuased by severe solar storms and hapoen once every 20 or so years. Let that sink in. The year of the green wood dragon might just be more than you expect. Solar flare international blackout impacts = mass starvation
