I don't know. As a kid, I hated them. So for almost two decades, I steered clear of them. Then, I had some of my friends when drunk, and it was a whole different story.
I nearly cried both because of how delicious it was, and also because I could have probably been eating them for years, but hadn't.

Actually, you're wrong Keith. Let's break this down.
The word "spork" derived from mashing together spoon and fork, has two letters from spoon (sp) and 3 letters from fork(ork). In this case, Fork dominates spoon 3-2, and therefore the square version in this video should be called a spork.
On the other side of the ring, we have foon. Let's break this down, shall we?
Foon is derived from once again, mashing the words spoon and fork together. However, unlike spork, the spoon is dominant in this word, easily taking the top role beating fork 3-1. Therefore, the round version on the common utensil often found in schools should be called a foon.
