Went in the gym bag twice but tackles, nah. Lol
Lmao hey if it gets the job done đ€·đŸââïž
What Kuon did actually happens in real games all the time. It's better to stop them from scoring and get carded if it gives your team a chance to win the game.
They need to google Valeverde vs Morata. Guy almost broke Morata's leg and ended his career to not let him go one on one with the goalkeeper.
@@joemadrid9706 or Suarez against Ghana xd
@@santiagoperdigon7696 If Suarez had a gun back there, Roshi would be proud LOL
@@santiagoperdigon7696For the uninitiated, Suarez prevented a goal by literally blocking it with his hands. This obviously resulted in a penalty, which the goalie then blocked which allowed them to not get eliminated.

I don't think they fully understand how important what Kuon did was, at that time. Nagi is a monster playing, and it is impossible to stop him alone, and since he was alone in front of the goal, he was GOING TO SCORE. Fouling him was the only way to stop him, and as you saw, no one asked him, but he did, and in doing so, he condemned himself, for the red card, plus, literally, saved the entire Z team and gave them one last chance to win the game. I know taking down a player isn't "fair play", but even in the real world, there are times when it's better to take him down than let him score, and do whatever it takes to win games even then.
The fact is, what Kuon did was fair play. He tackled Nagi and got a red card and team V got a free kick. It's all within the rules.
It's the same thing when Suarez saved the ball with his hand in the 2010 WC QF between Uruguay and Ghana. He got a red card and Ghana got the penalty kick. People gave him shit for that, but he saved Uruguay from certain defeat. It was Ghana's fault for missing the penalty kick.

The funny thing is that that shit happens EVERY GAME. Most of the time it doesn't even get called out. It happens MULTIPLE TIMES. And it's usually the same damn team that's 1. tackling the SHIT out of the other team and throwing them down and 2. flopping like they're LeBron the second someone breathes on them. EVERY. DAMN. People always hate (using lightly) till someone shows talent, before he showed results people naturally brushed him off. Man's coming in clutch these past couple eps.
I was actually shocked that a guy with his attitude had almost no issue with being elbowed in the throat for the team
bro raichi stamina is on another level .
Agree!
I gotta give credit to Raichi. Man managed to go against Reo and stop him from making a play. And what he said about to attack and attack only. And don't waste his efforts on defending. That was amazing. I love that part.
Also a little credit to their goalkeeper... He finally stop a big goal.
They're one of the reason why they're have a chance of winning.. Can't wait for the next episode đ
Cut the goal keeper some slack heâs a striker like the rest of themđ„č.
Raichi defense has been CRITICAL
They forgetting Raichi caught a whole elbow shot to the neck as well that could have taken him out the game. Eye for an eye.
Nah give big credit to that mf Iemon, bro is a striker and had only been playing as goalkeeper for only a couple of days. yet bro still managed to save an incredible shot
If Raichi doesnât become a striker in the future then he should stick to playing defense because he has the stamina of Eluid Kipchoge to keep going at that kind of pace for 90 minutes

@@Dryltd including himself, kuon himself is the most trash player on the team. Even igaguri is at least useful as a meat shield, kuon can't even manage that plus his strategies sucked. You felt that too, huh? Shit's hilarious
Roshi: Man, Kuon tackling another man down that's foul!
Also Roshi: Pull out a gun on the opponent and shoot them multiple times.
The way Ichigo Getsuga Tenshous the goal is always so fire, it's like if he's close by, it's a guaranteed goal.
The thing about Kuon's intentions are left for viewer interpretation. It could be that he was remembering how it felt to have a teammate that half-assed things and didn't to be one at that pivotal moment, it could be because his a massive egotist and didn't want to lose a match like this when he had the chance. One thing's for sure his teammates working so hard against these odds inspired him
OR MAYBE he realized he's the only one who isn't evolving in his team and would technically still be at 0 goals if it wasn't for the 3 fake goals he got :)

The reason Kuon wasn't playing is because Raichi threatened to beat him up off didn't stand in the corner. He wasn't gonna play regardless but that just gave him another reason not to.
There are lots of intentional fouls in actual football, usually to stop counter attacks and players who are 1v1 with the keeper

@@jos-josradvanji6203 the goalie
About intentional fouls: it happens but you gotta be like "I went for the ball, it was nothing, he is faking it", if it's obvious that you fouled to stop an offensive play, that's a red card
They say they could use the excuse "We coulda won if we didn't get tackled." But they really can't since Z could just say "We coulda had an easier win if Kuon helped us from the start"
not really. Kuon hasn't done anything useful in any of the past matches so it's not like he's some ace on their team that didn't get to play.
don't forget he'd be at 0 goals if we don't count the fakes that he got.
he's also the only one who hasn't evolved even in the slightest. So if anything he'd just be standing on the field instead of on the side and that's it.
@@jos-josradvanji6203 You're underestimating what fill-ins can do in a team. In our local soccer team there are like, 3 star players myself unfortunately not being one of them. Having that one player that at least knows football compared to none is a huge difference. If he was sabotaging them then yeah, they'd be at a disadvantage but nothing showed us that Kuon sucked at football. Slight spoilers but Igaguri, who is basically the epitome of useless at this point is currently part of the neo egoist league and even now he isn't anything too spectacular. All on all a man disadvantage is a man disadvantage, you can make up for it in skill sure but it's still a disadvantage.

If it's the end of the game, you can either stall by passing in the enemy area (Something Brazil didn't do against Croacia) or doing a foul while the other team is counter attacking.
BRUH that was unnecessary XD
@@amari7782 it was totally necessary if it saved them from losing no?
@@nnightkingj no the call out towards croacia was unnecessary
Instead of Kuon jumping in to play which would only appear as him trying to save his own skin again, he purposefully took a red card to set himself back from being the top scorer and not being able to jump in either as a way of redemption and putting his faith in the team. He realized he was the same as the guys he didnât like on his previous team
13:20 Top 2 teams advance entirely, so the entirety of Team V is going forward regardless if they win or lose this
Exactly! Meanwhile if Team Z lose or draw this game, they won't be in the top 2 and so only their top scorer would go through.
That could have been Kuon, but now as things stand, that is Kunigami (Ichigo), because Kuon's red card put him behind on fairplay points.
Team Y in their game was trying to foul team Z before the last goal too. It's a pretty common thing in soccer
9:56 Look this editor bro, don't do that to Marquinhos, not again lol đ§đ·đ€§đ€Ł
Nagi pulled a Zlatan Ibrahimovic on them and Kuon decided to play Rugby in in a soccer field.
Lupasan, offside rule doesn't apply to clearing ball before our own goal.
I appreciate that Kuon knew the team wouldn't trust him to come back and play, so he did the only thing that would 1) help the team and 2) also establish that he had abandoned his plan to go on without them.
nah Lupaâs funny as hell bro if they lost and Blue Lock turned into Blue Period đ
Seeing Kuon tackle Nagi shows he's from america with their meaning of footballđ€Łđ€Ł
Abou the players who will move to the next phase: the entire team V (because 2 teams move to the next phase), + team Z if they win (if they don't, just Kunigami) + probably Barou from team X and the top striker from team Y
I love y'all brođ€Łđ€Ł we need to give y'all a 15 minute seminar on the rules for the rest of the season
You can't get called for offside as the defending team. Offside stops people from standing around the goal and scoring its an attack restricting ruler
Guys, it seems that you forgot something if team V loses that match who will go to the next phase will not be the highest scorer, since you must remember that team V has not lost 1 single game, they are already qualified to advance to the next phase the reason why they are playing so aggressive is precisely because they haven't lost any match and they don't want to experience the feeling of defeat.
When I played soccer I was the designated fouler. I couldnt score, I couldnt dribble, I couldnt pass. But I damn sure could cripple a kid.

i dont know if this is what yall were talking about near the end, but team v wouldnt NEED a top scorer whether they win or lose because team v is literally undefeated so even if they lose everyone on the team moves on.
11:05 isagiâs posture bro â ïžâ ïžâ ïž
13:09
This is not a spoiler because its been shown already in the show, but Team V is currently the #1 team. All of the #1 and #2 team goes through, it is only for the rest of the teams that the highest scorer rule matters and the outcome of this game wont move Team V down into that position even if they lose.
11:17 This how reading the manga feels stopping every play đ
All the moves are real, a bit exaggerated because ANIME (and we don't have the point of view that animation allows) but all the moves and goals are used by professional and freestyle football players. Blue Lock reminds me of the times I watched Captain Tsubasa as a kid, the hype is still the same just with a different plot.
I'm not sure if you guys remembered from the final conversation, but the top 2 teams move forward along with the top scorers from the other 3 teams. So team V is set no matter what because they're so far ahead
What Kuon did was actually happens in real game tho, thatâs the last card a player can do to prevent a goal, sacrificing one player on a team to at least give his team a chance
I think that tackle also makes his "help" more credible. If he just tried to stop it normally without fouling (and god knows if he actually can with how good nagi is), some of his teammates can still make the argument that he's still up to something or that he doesn't really care because even if they lose, he still moves forward because he and kunigami are tied both with points at 3 and fair play at 0 (number of cards) but he still has the higher rank. But by commiting a foul. He forfeits any and all suspicion that he's up to something, by giving up that sure spot. It makes his help more credible. Also, honest to god, it's the only way to stop nagi at that point who's literally one-on-one with the goalie. I know ya'll are used to basketball, but football (soccer) is a lot more physical in terms of defense. Heck slide tackling someone is a valid and common defensive option and that shit can injure someone in a heartbeat if the other player isn't paying attention.
Broooo this editor man. Never expected to see eyeshield 21 references. The freaking devil bats
9:55 as a brazilian that shit hurts my soul
Lupa, an off-side is: if any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents' half (excluding the halfway line) and. any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents' goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent. Gagamatsu was in his OWN half, when he defended the ball.
That foul felt too personal
Nagi supremacy hope we'll see more of him , team v is this strong i can't imagine what kind of beast team A is
and imagine ,team u20 is stronger than tam A
Nagi is a constant factor
There is no team A bro ego said it went from B to Z
Haha yeah, go team A wooo
people werenât kidding when they said this is shonen soccer. this team V game is goku vs frieza with how much theyâre stretching it out lolol
The patrons probably already explained but what sheera is saying is actually about kuon and kinigami not nagi. If a team is placed 3rd and lower out of 5 (in this case V, w, x y z) they are evicted bit their top scorer gets to remain. So if team z (who is currently 3rd) lost to team v then only their top scorer, kuon, would advance since he had 3 goals.
But in this game, kunigami scored 2 so he is also at 3. When there is a tie in goals scored then two other factors are used to see who stays. Ranking and fair play points. At the beginning of match they both had no fouls so they are also tied in fair play points (yes even though kuon literally played for anothef team) but in ranking, kuon is number 1 on team z so he would advance even if the team lost. But now, since he fouled nagi, he has lower fair play points which is enough to offset his ranking making kunigami ahead of him so kunigami would advance if team z lost. This is why their team was confused why kuon did that since now he is in the same boat as them if they lose. But if team z win here, which is what kuon is now willing to bet on, then they become 2nd in the team leader board and can all advance as a team.
This was def a great episode to show them working together to get back in it, and what Raichi (soccer Bakugo) said to put that battery in their backs was dope. What Kuon did is pretty normal, hell Iâve done it before in a game (not to that magnitude though). Looking forward to the next episodeâŠ

These episodes are so refreshing and get even better as new, unique characters get introduced. I like how everyone has their own weapon and how theyâre all coming up with their own formulas to solve for W. The script is jam packed with banger lines with real-life applicability too, and you can feel the emotion behind the voice acting and animation when they get pissed, are dead serious about something, or are about to make an insane play or shot. Iâm surprised and glad this anime is enjoyable even for those who donât exactly know the subtleties and blood-rush of playing an actual high-stress soccer game firsthand, but then again, the feeling of wanting to achieve victory through oneâs own efforts alongside others should still be relatable nonetheless. Also, Kuon ended up being more relatable than I thought. Being the only one who dares to dream amongst those who tether themselves too hard to the status quo of what society considers to be realistic for the sake of safety and comfort within a herd is incredibly demotivating, so itâs nice to see that despite his villain origin story, he was able to move on from it and redeem himself thanks to everyoneâs fighting spirit.
Lupa and I reacted the same when this ended man This one game has lasted as long as the world cup and it's just as hype lol. Regarding the foul, there are tactile fouls done in soccer usually done to stop a counter attack so the team can re position. Player has to eat a yellow card but in this case homie just.... yeah man idk lol
Y'all need to google Valeverde vs Morata to see that what Kuon happens in decisive moments in Football. The reason Kuon tackled him instead of snatching the ball or helping like a normal defender is that Nagi could have dribbled him and he is already going one on one against the goalkeeper. Kuon chose to NOT take a chance and completely stop Nagi, by all means from scoring, even if he had to Rugby tackle him. We see things like this everyday in soccer to prevent goals at decisive times. Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid 0-0 Spanish super cup final, in the last minute, the striker Morata was going one on one against the goalkeeper and has a chance to score and end the game, Valeverde chased him but he was behind so he tackled the shit out of him from behind and could have ended his career. Just like Kuon, he took the red card and was sent off and the goal was not scored, leading Real Madrid to win by penalties later.
