US to Canada can be done in a matter of 15 minutes assuming your paperwork is in order. Won't be long and the Chinese will have their super highway done and the warehouses at the border. Then you European driver will be going all the way to the Indian/Chinese border.
When the summer arrives and the roads get filled with holiday people to turkey, you always see situations like this. But the bulgarian dwein are guilty they really working too slow I know it because I saw it many times, they always do this even to people who are going to holiday. The european union must do something this is soo bad for the poor truckers..

Surprised to hear the DAF 500 is gutless. Last time I drove a DAF it was a 95XF-530 in 2008..and that was a flyer, loads of grunt.
apart from ours, none at all!!! although i did see an old daf which used to be english, now on (i think) a cyprus registration)

Used to be done in the 70s . Pakistan was a regular run for a local haulier here in the UK.
