In the late 80s I watched Roller Derby with my Aunt. It was hard-core. I believe you can find footage. It is one if the most high energy, enjoyable ways to beat up on your buddies, lol. I highly recommemd you see the 80s footage for authentic ideas. You, sickler, Bert, Virzi etc would kill this. I would be there!

got thrashed on a 25ft wave out on outer reef on north shore, oahu, had a full on outer body experience where i saw my whole entire life flash before me. then i had to go back into my limp body on bottom of the pacific and it felt like a butterbean punch to give me the strength to pop up and swim to shore . it was such a brutal wipeout my whole wetsuit got shredded had to walk back to my van naked.
Lived to tell the tale. Good thing you didn't hit your head or break your neck.

I lost my taste and smell for a few weeks. It sucks so bad. I kept smelling everything until it came back. I also micro dose mushrooms. It helps depression and anxiety. Maybe it helped bring my senses back. I don't know. Worth a shot in my opinion.

I miss read the title i was going to give your show a try but is was sickler not sheckler.
I've lost my smell twice in my life....not from covid....and I couldn't taste anything. No smell means no taste. It made it really hard to want to eat. You don't know how much smell & taste is involved in your body wanting food. It was really fun freaking people out by drinking and eating anything that would normally be disgusting like it's water. Lol

Call me crazy but if you say you take medical advice from Joe Rogan, I can’t believe anything you say after that! 😂
People need to do more research on their psychadelics. Just because mushrooms are "natural" doesn't mean it's gonna be a better trip than lsd. LSD is pretty well documented as being basically a stronger version of psilocybin, without the stomach discomfort and much less likelihood of a bad trip with a comparable dose, and also much higher levels of euphoria. mushrooms in a very small dose are super euphoric, but you won't get any psychological development from that. mushrooms in a high dose are psychologically gonna work, but they will have little to no euphoria, and you WILL have a bad time for at least 2 out of the 8-12 hours you'll be tripping on a high dose. If you are afraid of psychadelics or worried about stuff like "having a bad trip" mushrooms are the last place to start, even dmt has enough euphoria to mask the discomfort of a larger dose.
Why the fuck is everyone going to Rogan for medical advice? It's like asking someone who can make a paper airplane how to fly a plane.
Anybody that trusts Joe Rogan for medical advice is a complete fool 🤦♀️
