I have ALWAYS wanted to try my hand at this pouring paint style of art and in this video I am finally getting to do it! Is it as easy as everyone always makes it look? Will it even turn out looking good? Not to mention I have NEVER worked on glass before...so this should be interesting.
Enjoy and God Bless!

"In my mind..." 😂 You should make merch with that saying on it! 👍😉😁
Maybe one day!👍
It's very pretty purples. I hope your wife loves it.
My grandfather was assembling a sheet metal shed, and he wasn't having much luck getting it together. Then one of his fishing buddies showed up, and tried helping. The first thing his buddy asked was, "did you read the instructions first?".
Your grandfather's answer was probably "no." lol
That was definitely "NOT terrible", it's gorgeous!!
Thanks!
So cool. Your wife will love this.
Dirty pour works too.
Turner will change the pattern to horizontal rather than vertical. Gravity is fun.
100%! I was going to do it in my turner but I never done the gravity way and wanted to try it out
definitely not a project for fast cure epoxy. the more you mix the faster it cures! I love doing resin and acrylic pours on vases! Great video!
Lmao your narrating is hilarious most artists I watch seem boring but have great skills you my friend have both and I find that refreshingly awesome if that's even a thing who knows I don't 😆 keep up the great work brother thanx for good tips
Thanks! -So glad you enjoyed!
Love it. Turned out so good
I’m doin it!
I will definitely be doing more of these! I would love to see yours when you do it!
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush ok. I’ll post it on your FB
Your wife is so lucky to have you and your talents.
My wife requests and aesthetic ombré mailbox
😂is that an order request
I'm am so happy you recreated a RK3 & Mixed Media Girl type of vase!!
Looks like the epoxy flash cured. Turned out nice
Looks awesome
Wow so beautiful❤
Thank you so much 😊
Paint causes rapid curing. Smaller containers hastens curing as well. Less is best.❤ the final results
That was an interesting video! All 3 items turned out very good, especially the wood piece and the vase..gr8 job for ur 1st attempt!! Keep the videos coming!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
Flash cured. A bigger container generates more heat. We all learn sometimes the hard way lol Make sure you’re pouring over a clean container for good adhesion. Alcohol is good to remove oils etc.
I also learned the hard way while spray painting an interior window on my bathroom that spray paint melts through those plastic cups quickly. It also leaves a mess, lol.
The wood is like a flower
Oh yeah I totally see that!
Great video. Wasn't sure the project was going to turn out lol. Once again you did it the unconventional way. Vase & painting are wonderful. Plus less waste. Thank you for sharing
That’s great Taylor! How fun 👍👏
Fun, easy, and pretty fast!
😂your so funny the vase turned out beautiful. I also watch Mixed Media Girl and RK3 love them both and you as well. ❤
Vase is outstanding! I've wanted to try this too, so thank you for the tips and tricks! Take care
You’re a hoot!!! Great video!!! I think we could do some fun colabs!!!!
Awesome! I have so many cheap vases from event planning, I NEED to do this! I was thinking at the beginning oooohhhhh nnnoooooo, not a whole cup of fast set! I think all of us had to do that at least once to learn it will flash cure FAST… no pun intended 🤪
😂
looks great bud!
That's pretty cool. Yes, priming created surface tension so the epoxy sticks, just like water. If you wanted to spread it in a different way, you could hit it with a heat gun to make it move like an acrylic pour. You're half crazy and I love it, like me.
lol, great tip!
Taylor the vase came beautifully . The painting looks great as well.
Thanks so much 😊
Im so happy now..
They are all beautiful!!! Great job!!! ❤️❤️
Loved everything you made! RK3 Designs and Mixed Media Girl are also 2 of my favorite channels. So fun! I haven’t had time to try this yet, but it’s definitely on my bucket list.
Thank you!!! 🥰
Great video! I wish my husband would do things like this for me
It looks amazing. I love your work
For what it's worth, when acrylic pouring on canvas, the canvas is almost always coated in a thick base color before pouring 😊
I love it!!!! Definitely don't use fast cast, lol
That is beautiful!
Thank you!
What is it that makes this technique SO satisfying?! Love your work, it always makes me smile. Happy New Year to you and the DAB Community 🎉
IKR, so satisfying! Thanks and happy new year to you too!
Gotta love a good exothermic chemical reaction.
Enjoyed this vid, as always! They came out sooo cool bud - but you’re actually supposed to wear a respirator when you mix the resin, cuz you have lungs and it’s a chemical reaction- and maybe have some ventilation so your eyeballs don’t dry up and implode. (Think Raiders of the Lost Ark) Lol 😂
😂
My first attempt with this method.... Yep, I dropped the jar I was using, and destroyed the pattern.
I added a little acrylic white to resin, and made a hot(literally) mess. It got hot and cured in the cup before I could do ANYTHING with it,
I’ve had the quick set epoxy heat up so fast on me & melt my cup like that before.
Heating it up first really shortens ur working time lol...but twas entertaining lol
So what did you do to clean the rim of the vase after it was cured? I see peaks of resin from it dripping so just curious how fix that at the end.
Just cut them down with an exacto knive and the turned it upside-down on the table on a piece of sandpaper and sanded smooth
Makes sense lol I’m always afraid to use sandpaper on the edges of glasses and tumblers because I don’t want to leave scratches but I guess if you’re careful…I may also need a less grit sandpaper
Question pour toi, quel magasin vend de cette résine, je demeure au Québec
Not sure but you can check to see if Alumilite ships there
Clean up the lip with your finger and run some of the resin inside the vase.
3:36 I’m concerned you have no ppe on! 😅 🥸
Flash cure.
Flash cure. Never had it happen to me, but it happens. And no, never heat quick cure epoxy.
Caddy shack, you should give the winner a air gun..
Dollar vase is now $12 in epoxy 😂
Too much epoxy in each cup. Chemical reaction. Heats and cures faster. Made too much epoxy for the project I think. Could've put more epoxy in different cups n repeat the colors..
Each epoxy has a purpose
My 1st try w a large amount.. I made a door stop..heated up & hardened flash cured on me 😂
