My wife is dealing with loss and Spiritfarer really helped her to explore her own feelings in a personal but less traumatic way. In addition, she finds it to be such a genuinely fun game that she describes as "Zen" Terraria with a beautiful story.

Hey Wood - Audio Engineer here and fan for a few years. The clarity and full range of your voice is SO much better in the new house with all that sound-proofing. I never thought the audio was BAD in the previous videos, it was standard CZcamsr audio quality.... But now it sounds fantastic. Congrats on the new home and great work with the sound-proofing!

Eh, I liked it at first, but honestly I don’t want to grind JUST to get the story. I mean it’s literally the same few worlds then you have to do it all over again for the minimal dialog, it’s loosing my interest.

Spiritfarer is such a great game; it's been a while since I've played something with such stella writing. The way it tackles the subject matter is both nuanced and respectful. This game is worth more than a simple look; not only has the story got weight but the gameplay has a level of flow that's seen in some of the best platformers.
I am currently loving Spiritfarer but I have to take a break. Recently lost a furbaby so I'd probably bawl my eyes out when sending a spirit to the great beyond.

I've played Spirit Farer. One of the best games I've played. Absolutely fantastic.

The Last campfire really is just an amazing game. The art style is breathtaking as well. I am really hoping they bring out more games in the same style.

I would really appreciate if you covered Cattails, it is a 2d pixel action roleplay where you play as a cat in 1 of 3 Domains. From what I know the switch was the only console to give it a chance. As well as the fact that the entire development team seems to be just one guy.

FINALLY!!! Thank you for another eShop video!!! The only one I've been playing recently from this list is Spiritfarer, which is a beautiful, beautiful game. I got chills the first time I brought a spirit to the Everdoor -- and that's around ten hours into my playthrough. It's relaxing and melancholy, and is one of my top games for 2020. I'll probably play The Last Campfire next.
its really awesome to hear you have bought a house and have a mortgage being represented as a permanent citizen and to look back years ago on your channel when you were really worried and disheartened about notices stating your Visa is expiring and all the anxiety you faced thinking you would no longer be here with your friends and fiancé. A Short Hike is so good and wholesome, I played it on PC a long time ago.
I got The Last Campfire on PC soon after release, and really enjoyed it!
I played the Inmost demo on steam a while back, and it's on my wishlist.

Wood, you should consider checking out/making a video about Hades. I got that a few days ago on the eShop and it's the only game I've been playing since then. It's massively addictive and super high quality.

Honestly he's can have his opinion. I have played the demo of ori 1 and I liked it but it wasn't an instant but for me like hollow knight but it is definitely a really good game and I'll get it soon. I'm happy to have these small devs that do so well
I just wanted to share that I've been watching your channel for a *very* long time. Even though I never had a Switch, I still loved watching your videos. After quite a while, I *finally* have a Switch Lite now. :) First game I got was BotW - super hyped for the new Age of Calamity coming out next month.
I played The Long Dark's open beta (never got around to the finished game) and I really loved it evenwithout any story. I wrote in the journal and made my own harrowingstory, lol. I need to finally try the story version.

I don't feel bad for Hello Games at all, they lied during interviews constantly and hyped the game up while saying it had all these features that it didn't actually have.

It was lame but I forgave them because they have made up for it more than anyone has ever made up for anything in history. They really outdid themselves in the end.
I LOVE SPIRITFARER. It's such a good game. I'm crying every time I need to take someone "to the ranch". Spending time in that beautiful world is truly awesome. BUT (technically) the game is not perfect. Framerate drops awfully in events, it glitches out the visuals from time to time and it kicked me quite a few times with an error screen. There are even occasions when dialogues glitch out or appear too late, finishing/starting tasks when you don't expect them to. Hope the studio patches up all the bugs, because it is really good therapeutic game.

Just buy Monster Hunter, it literally goes down to 10 dollars every 2-3 weeks
But what's the purpose of hunting the monsters anyway? Is there an overall objective for killing them? I don't want to spend hours upon hours hunting/fighting boss after boss, only for it to never amount to anything.

And there is a final bos for Both online and offline and it's fun to see your growth, and playing with friend enhances the experience
@@jaedenadams6599 I see. I guess I was hoping for the game to have a story where the fate of the world depended on you killing them, or something like that. Defeating monsters just to prove to myself that I can do it isn't good enough for me.
@@nonyabusiness3619 that's literally the same exact thing keeping me from playing Monster Hunter... I would rather prefer Shadow of Colossus where there is only a handful of Monsters but story is the main part of the experience...
