Lets not forget that the First Hokage supposedly used his Kekkei Genkai to help grow the huge forest around Konoha. The ability to more or less terraform an area was a massive boost to the Land of Fire.
In Hashirama’s flashbacks they present the land on which konoha was build as already having dense forests
I mean, not just him. Remember when Yamato just casually built a giant cliff and then put a waterfall on it when Naruto was training for the Rasenshuriken?
Technically it's not a Kekkei Genkai. A Kekkei Genkai is a bloodline ability, release, or trait. Wood Release is unique to Hashirama, which is why everyone steals his cells, for his Wood Release.

@@michaelcoban90 Wrong. That's a single type of Kekkei Genkai: Nature Transformations, such as Lava or Wood Release. Others include dojutsu such as the Sharingan, and other bloodline traits. It's been defined as a bloodline trait since day one.
They don't make shadow clones in the academy, it's just clones that are entirely illusions.

Also, Naruto couldn't make clones not shadow clones until after he failed the test and studied the stolen scroll. But he did seem to master I think an A rank FORBIDDEN Jutsu literally overnight? Like in a few hours? So dude really is a freaking prodigy. Probably better than Sasuke, honestly. Without his Sharingan, could Sasuke have mastered that in A FEW HOURS?! Doubt it.

Sasuke can't learn the Multi-Shadow Clone jutsu. He doesn't have enough chakra. He would literally die of chakra depletion. Though, he is smart enough to understand it. He was still a prodigy.
@@micepapi4640 Thats only partially true. In boruto we see sasuke create 8 shadow clones using multi shadow clone jutsu when boruto was asking him to train him. So it's not that he can't use them it's just not smart. Given the fact that he doesn't have tailed beast levels of chakra and his normal jutsu use large quantities of chakra it just doesn't make sense for him to use it which is why we pretty much never see it.
12:08 The academy clone jutsu is actually separate from the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Naruto failed the exam because the clone jutsu he did make was pitiful, then learned the Shadow Clone Jutsu from the Forbidden Scroll which allowed him to make physical copies of himself unlike the academy clone which was not physical, an illusion.

Clone Justus were not an illusion. They were physical clones who could use kunais, shurikens and physically hurt you.
Shadow clones, like from Naruto were different because the user had to separate their chakra equally into the copies, which was why Neji with his Byakugan could tell which one was the real Naruto.
I don't remember well if Sharingan users could see the original or not. I would say no, because even Madara in war couldn't tell that the Naruto who blocked the Mokuton deep forest emergence on the page with a rasengan barrage, was actually a shadow clone of Naruto, creating himself an army of shadow clones.
I'm a Tobirama Stan for LIFE. You're one of the only people who recognizes how great and important he was. He's severely underrated and I think it's on purpose so he doesn't take away from Hashirama.

Tobirama is the greatest and most important Hokage in the entirety of the Konoha's history. His ideas to have the Senju marry outside of the clan, the police force, the anbu, the ninja academy, the chuunin exams, his eventual trust of the Uchiha and his R&D work make him the most effective hokage in history. Plus my guy was a total badass
Making the Uchiha the police force and moving them to an isolated district was not a good move. This made the Uchiha disliked by Konoha because they were the only one enacting law (same way people generally don't like police). It also gave them the room to have their secret missions. These moves would eventually create the plan for the coup. If the Uchiha lived among the rest of their village, the Uchiha blood would've mixed and become stronger. Look at Sasuke and Sakura having Sarada. It seems to have eliminated the hate that resides in Uchiha blood. Yes, there is a bit more that goes into this, but it had a horrible conclusion.
But did the uchihas moved during 2nd hokage's reign or 3rd's?

I think for Genin it's a kinjutsu. (Actually, since it was in the Forbidden scroll, it might've just been a straight up kinjutsu that people might've already known)
The one to pass the academy is the genjutsu Clone technique that just makes a fake double with no substance

That’s probably coming from Naruto telling Neji after their fight that he failed the shadow clone jutsu 3 times before finally graduating the academy, which seems like a continuity error since up to that point everyone is like “whoa wtf, *shadow* clones?!?!” whenever he busts them out. And then it’s this huge deal to Kiba when he makes one much later in Shippuden.
The shadow clone technique is Joinin rank bro. The multi shadow clone technique is forbidden because it's a Chakra draining detriment

Fun fact the thrid mizukage was probably the oldest kage living until his death. He was an adult during the first kage summit and was the kage during the third shinobi war because we know the mist put isobu into rin confirming yagura wasn't its host yet.

I just realized that kurama is stronger than all the other tailed beasts combined, that means that the difference between 9 tails and 10 tails is 49% stronger at most
Well yeah. But In theory all beasts can draw nature energy, hence the use is really really determined by the beast user. Their level of Harmony between them.

@@rafaelmoss1596 I like to think that Kurama is the strongest because he has the most chakra out of all the tailed beast (his chakra being able to fuel a bijudama stronger than 5 tailed beasts and charge the entire shinobi alliance) and has the fastest recovery time (being stomp by Gamabunta, hit by many big sage powered rasengans and rasenshuriken, and still able to fire of a bijudama).
But I think the other biju can beat Kurama if the environment favor them. Shukaku maybe able to beat Kurama in the desert, Son Goku maybe able to beat Kurama on a volcano, Gyuuki and Isobu maybe able to beat Kurama on the sea, etc.
Oh and the reason as to why the tailed beast didn't come back, maybe bcs Naruto made a promise to release them and made them do what they want without being hunted, so yeah.

@@einmax9304 Ashura and Indra's reincarnations are always in the Leaf because that's where the Senju and Uchiha are. The Uzumaki and Senju were close to one another, so even if an Uzumaki became the reincarnation, they'd still be an ally of Konoha.

This guy is one of my favourite youtubers, he uploads amazing videos.
I think because they had the Senju and Uchiha, the strongest clans on earth, make an alliance, many other powerful clans also came in and decided to join the alliance with the goal of becoming stronger by joinging the strongest. Because of this you basically have several of the strongest clans joining together to create an even stronger village. Plus because of this you have all these kekkei genkei and just powerful bloodlines all of which aid Konoha, for example the Inoichi clan’s ability to communicate and relay orders (that came in handy during the fourth war) or the Uchihas Sharingan which can instantly replicate any non kekekei genkei meaning the Uchiha just get stronger when they’re fight a strong opponent. Plus on top of that the Uchiha are all prodigies so even without the Sharingan you still have a skilled Ninja.
So, this begs the question: why were so many Akatsuki not ex-Leaf nin? A majority were from the other villages.

@@astridposey The point I was trying to make was non-Leaf ninjas didn't have the same financial and social safety that Leaf ninjas had, so those non-Leaf ninjas turn more to crime. So statistically it makes sense that majority of them come from other villages. Simply put, leaf ninjas didn't join didn't have any good reason to become criminals.
I could be wrong but the 3 strongest akatsuki are leaf ninja (if you count Sasuke) well pain might take itachi but that’s debatable I think. Oh and they had orochimaru which isn’t the strongest but he ain’t the weakest either
I was able to get 5 Hidden Stone characters but only barely. Onoki, Kurotsuchi, Kitsuchi, Mu, and Deidara were the characters I could name but hell if I could name even one more!

I'm a Brazilian geographer, and we often have to deal with the misconception that our equatorial rain forest holds fertile soil. It doesn't. It can't. It rains too much.
All of the "fertile material" drains down meters and meters down to the water table, to be taken eventually to rivers that indeed hold an incredible fertility. The soils end up a mass of washed up metallic material - in the Brazilian rain forest, iron. What holds the fertility is precisely the rain regimen and the forthcoming biological material that sits on top of this infertile land. Like 5 meters deep of it, sometimes more. So it goes: fertile organic material, then 50m of infertile soil and then bedrock. Rain forest kinda sustain itself due to the rain and the previous generations of biomass.

However, *moderate weather and fertile lands* outside "literal rainforest" like in Africa and Asia can support vast agricultural wealth.
My guess as to why the other villages don't adapt the idea of 1 medic per squad is because they just don't have the medic strength/ability to go around, so they more so go the field hospital route of keeping a team(s) in strategic locations and having the wounded brought to them. Especially the hidden sand since they don't have enough human shinobi and utilize their puppets to bolster their strength in general.

Hyugas also bred mainly within the clan to keep the clan strong, which in turn strengthens the Leaf. If the Uchiha and Hyuga bred out of their clan more times than not, they would actually weaken in power, cause it would decrease the chance of their dojutsu being passed on, weakening the Leaf as a whole.

Eh, in their fight in the pre luminaries naruto was nerfed by having his chakra sealed by orochimaru. And that wasn’t realeased until jiraiya threw him off a cliff.
Naruto was nerfed by Orochimaru’s seal and fatigued after fighting the rain genins. Kiba had already been resting for days when his fight with Naruto began. And had pills to boost his chakra.

Small mistake but Need to correct: in the academy you didn’t have to do shadow clone, that was a forbidden jutsu, you had to create a clone. Not the same jutsu. Obviously shadow clone is superior cause the clone is physical. But your videos are always awesome!

If youre the hub for strength, technology, money, and politics, it just seems like the natural course of events for people to want to immigrate. At that point, whats stopping konoha from expanding "we're not taking over, we're welcoming you"

Now that I think of it, the only way for the Uchihas to spawn izanagi is if they also commited familial fatricide by killing and eating the Senju, like Madara did, so the beginning of the conflict was more personal yet the resentment against their cannibal counsins coupled with their prominent position explain yet they hate each other more.
In fact the 3rd Shinobi world was launched by Sand because Sasori killed the 3rd Kazekage and accused Konoha of it to stop the internal conflict. Konoha confronted all the great villages in the 3rd war but each village started the war at different times because they wanted Konoha's fields.

Genetics in Naruto. Why is it so inconsistent? The Uchiha and Hyuga largely kept it within the family. But when you combined the Senju and Uchiha genetics, great things happened. Why didn't folks mix more? Why do Itachis gf and Sarada suffer to use the sharingan when they have Uchiha genetics
Basically all real power in naruto comes from being a decedent of Kaguya. Every generation removed from that weakens that aspect. That’s why clans try to keep it in the family. The more diluted the alien blood gets the weaker everyone else will be. the drop off from Kaguya to Hagaromo to Indra was so steep that the laters can’t beat the formers but that level of power drop seems to have slowed to where the drop is more a slope than the sheer drop of Kaguya to children. Like the Uchiha are basically going to be a shadow of themselves save for the once in 4 or 5 generation madara’s and Itachi’s that sprout up unless Sarada has children with another Kaguya descendant.
Sarada is half Uchiha though. Kakashi had a tough time without being an Uchiha in using it for too long
@@stonalisa3729 That's just it, she is only half Uchiha, Sakura does not belong to a clan which means that she is very far removed from Kaguya, thus Sarada has difficulty sustaining the Sharingan.
If however she marries Boruto their children would have very little difficulty in sustaining any kind of ocular power because every major bloodline would run through their veins.

If one more person calls the clone jutsu the shadow clone jutsu I’m going to flip normal clones aren’t physical clones shadow clones are that is why we only see a few people use shadow clones. The jutsu they learn at the academy is the clone jutsu not shadow clone jutsu
Academy kids dont have to make shadow clones during the test. They just make regular clones I.e bunshin no jutsu rather than jage-bunshin FYI .

I think Minato Namikaze could have had senju blood in him. Just think his flying god jutsu takes up a ton chakra to use, and spams the hell out of the jutsu. Which clan in the leaf were know for the chakra amount.

Why do all the villages have “hidden” at the start of the village name..? Not very hidden tbh

The Hidden Sand was at least fighting the Hidden Stone and The Hidden Mist during the third world war. We can infer this from Pakuras backstory. Maki is a child in this scene and isnt very old so we can probably date the flashback to the third war. Rasa is Kazekage in this flashback which lines up with the timeline further indicating WW3. In the flashback Pakura established a small peace with the stone before being sent to her death to be used as a bargaining chip for the mist. Which is then blamed on the stone which reignites the fighting. We can than see they are not fighting the leaf (at least by the end of the war) in a separate flashback where we see the sand Protecting the leaf shinobi who were sent to establish peace talks with the stone. The sands relation with the cloud during the third shinobi world war is unknown. But its not unlikely that they did battle.

Konoha is not the strongest village it just so happens to be the village that the main protag is From and despite it being super inconsistent there are multiple databook entries that support it. Konoha happens to the the third strongest overall, just behind the cloud and the earth. The thing that makes konoha a powerhouse is its medical system which allows shinobi to not be sidelined for normal small injuries, and it's abundance of clans who all offer a specialized trait during war.
Also I have to disagree with inbreeding in the Uchiha. It seems like they were encouraged to breed outside the clan, but with other clans to keep their nobility status, and the new member just took the last name Uchiha cause it's considered noble in the hidden leaf. That would explain why the sharingan is a recessive trait within the Uchiha, but every hyuuga save for boruto has a byakugan.
The thing STRONGERS IS MENT AS IN MILITARY STRONGEST BUT WHEN YOU LOOK DEEEPR AND LOOK ALL STUFF THAT THIS VIDEO IS FOCUSING ON THE ELAF IS TEH STRONGEST DUE TO MANY ASPECST BEING IN KONOHAS FAVOR COMPARED TO THE OTEHR VILLAGES WHO ONLY HAVE SMALL AMOUNT OF THINGS THAT GO THEIR WAY.
