This is a 2 story modern house design with the master bedroom on the first floor and 2 bedrooms and a balcony on the second floor. This house design can be built on a 50 sqm lot.

I was watching sooo many Sims 4 videos with people building houses and when I first clicked on the video I was like, "Mmmm Sims has really improved their graphics"

Beautiful! Except I would lose the veranda. Put all the bedrooms upstairs to open up more space downstairs. Then add a roof deck for outdoor living space.

I love this is a "small house" when that's slightly larger than the UK average being built now...
Right? Meanwhile my 50sqm home is considered medium big in my country
struggle to meet minimum space standards now this for a 3 bed house, big builder have sites with planning in years in advance so there still working on sites from ages ago, hopefully in the future homes in the UK are a little larger when built new - i know as a small developer all my homes are to offer more over the bigger companies.
I enjoy these - but sometimes modular can be a bit monotonous for some. Maybe a bit more accent color choice as owners see fit
It's not smaller than the average house being built in the UK, it's smaller than the average "home" being built in the UK which takes in to account the hundreds of thousands of 1-2 bed apartments being thrown up in the cities.
This house is considered tiny in our country where the average houses are about 2000sqf

U could make the balcony to be little and add a separate room for laundry and a clothing area

This is my dream home .N my next 5 year plan is this ...after my MBA me N my family R going to live a happy life in my dream home ..thanks for the creator of this wonderful home ....
There are some good ideas there, but you're missing a lot of things: where's the utility room? how would you wash/dry or hang up clothes? where does water / power / internet come in, where are the meters and the distribution board? where would you store brooms, vacuums, general household items of that nature? You have bedrooms for four people, but couch space in the "living room" for two. If you roll back with your chair in the bedrooms, you hit the beds. You have little space to store clothes or much of anything in the upstairs bedrooms. The stairs are 60cm wide, that's almost to narrow to walk up let alone carry anything up the stairs or get the furniture in. List of smaller things goes on. So to really make this a liveable house you would either need a basement, make it a 2 bedroom, get rid of the balcony or a combination of that.
Personally, I would love to have a house like this. It looks wonderful to live in. I hope I have a beautiful house like this in the future :D

Truth. Most tiny homes miss basics and still cost the same as most regular sized homes. Why? because just like how technology gets more expensive by cramming cool stuff into smaller and smaller boxes, they think they can do the same with homes. um... no.

Youd probably want to expand storage space more in rooms and minimize the balcony. Storage is way more important

This is the perfect sized home. Spacious with a beautiful design inside and out. Love the balcony as well! Big houses are a bunch of wasted space and rooms that are rarely used...more to clean, furnish and maintain.

Beautiful house and nicely furnished. People who are concerned about its small size can always consider extending the house from one or more sides, as if you were to zoom it, keeping the same layout - if you like the design. Very well laid out and perfect for small and nuclear families.
Personally, I would make the 2 rooms bigger, and the outdoor patio smaller
The black makes the house feel darker and smaller so lighter colors open it up
@@beed4444 I would say the patio is a brilliant idea and wouldn't remove it. Having an outdoor open space that faces outwards greatly opens the 2nd floor and makes it feel a lot bigger. You can also use that space to study, workout, have dinner, or just gather. Almost all of the compact homes you see won't have an outdoor space like that which makes it feel claustrophobic inside
@@Striker50_ I think you make a good case for the patio but what happens when it rains? Would it always be exposed to the extreme climate?
@@dmldavies That would be up to the designer/architecture firm. If it's in Southeast Asia or somewhere where there's insane monsoons and it basically rains sideways, you could have solid wall instead of railing and roof overhang to reduce the amount of water that would make it into the patio
I think the black and white make a nice play on the perception of space. Yes black feels smaller in some ways while at the same time you get a sense of space- or I should say airiness? (Is that even a word!?)- with the white contrast and the tall windows
@@dmldavies The patio has a roof cover above it so the rain wouldn't flood the patio, it would go down the drainage system.

Nice house! I love the floating night stands & the built in desks in the bedrooms! The built in shelf in the shower & the bench on the balcony are nice too! I could be happy living there. I designed a house myself when I was younger, was thinking about it just the other day. Good video!

House looks like it has zero privacy.
Tbh I could have designed this myself in the Sims and I have 0 architectyre education. This is hardly ingenuity, it's just common sense if you have a mind for this sort of thing. But if you don't, that's okay, it takes all kinds. For instance I'm 🐕 💩 at memorizing information, but I'm good at design.
I will always design my house , will let an architect deliver my design . For those who aren't good at designing go with your architect

Wooo I love love love it haven't even s22n in I'd change alot in the main room but love the gold hardware with the black live the art in the room love the 2nd bath room alot don't care for the first 50/50 on the windows love the railing and I'd be adding some rainbow or semi rainbow light soft clouds or be doing some art on the black wall .

By adding an additional 2 meters (6 FT) would increase the homes CTB by $20,000 USD - $32,000 depending on the area. Ultimately, these efficient smaller home designs are becoming extremely popular! Good Work!

The problem is the cost of the land (pretty much everywhere in developed countries), not the cost of the home as such.

I really love this home but I prefer the bottom bedroom to be a part of the living area so I prefer it as a two bedroom. The wall that divides the two bedrooms I prefer as a long wardrobe on either side of the wall so that the cupboards are in front of the bed however the house would have to be a little bit longer to accommodate for this.
