MEETUP GAME: April 6th at the Fort Card Room!! 1-6pm w/ special guests: Next Gen, Slick Ric, Sethy, On Tilt, Sam Queso!!
K9s is only 5 outs! Just saying
A lot of mistakes. KJ doesn't have you beat in the $6.2k pot!
If someone has a full house they're gonna call u and win. Ace high flush can bet half to 3quartrrs pot
Agreed. 4 is never going to call there, you’re basically only getting called by a smaller flush and even a lot of those might fold on a paired board. The river shove is never getting paid by a worse hand.
Just depends on the game. Some are 300 max, some are 3k. Max for example.
These dudes are there to game, 1/3 25 straddle 🤣
I really like the breakdowns in this video. Very clear. Very nice for anew player like me! Thank you! Always fun to watch.
Love to watch game with this angle of view. Thank you man for these videos. I am learning poker from it
Congrats on becoming an owner at The Fort and all your success! I’ve been watching and subscribed since your channel was new and you were an up and comer. I just looked and you now have 1.2 MILLION subs! Amazing man you deserve it
15:52 how does k-j have you beat there? The j or 10 wouldn't play. It would be k-k-k + a-q on the board.
was coming here to say the same thing :D
+1
Good catch, not sure why he said that but he was wrong
I’ve literally never run so good in 10 years of playing poker and it seems like Wolf man does it every vlog 😂
i loved when you talkd about the equity and calcuations so i would love to see more of that
You have great content and seem like a genuinely nice guy!! Should be getting more views!! Keep it up!!!!
5:30 That's why you don't stack pots like that unless it's a split pot game. If the towers fall it can create a lot of potential problems.
My poker game has elevated by watching you bro 🙌🏼
correction on 12:44 its only 5 outs (3,8 diamonds straight flush).
great content and great work as always, keep it up !
Correct
1000 big blinds buy in is insane
Guess everything is bigger in Texas. Most I’ve seen 1-3 was 1k buy in
@@tattoomesamthat’s also insane
Thats how they attract the fish into the game. But its ridiculous for a live cash game 1000BB deep. And you can tell by the way these clowns play they have no clue what poker is
@@matthewrobert1810 yeah it was in a private club with a ridiculous uncapped rake so it makes sense for them. max I’ve seen in a casino is $600
Just drove by there today. Lot was pretty full on a Monday evening. May have to give it a shot one of these days
Bruh...I love the content and you deserve all the success, but I gotta give my guy Steven BIG props for the HEART to go for that bluff. Applause emoji to you, my friend.
I like the lead with AAs hand, I dont think I would have found that play but it was a great move, and great call with the K10, bout time u had a sun run lbvs
12:42 only 5 outs actually… great fold
That is the worst jam I've ever seen with AQdiamonds....only a boat is calling you. You missed value from so many hands. Bet is around $300 to make it look like a blocker and maybe someone jams.
Every time I watch his video he plays worse LMAO must be the rampage effect
@@mb0ypwnj00 Its because they make their money from running over raked games online and merchandise...I'm amazed how fast Mariano, Rampage and this guy have gone from 1/2 2/5 to owning poker rooms.
I mean when you are in the moment playing with all that money, it’s just not that easy. But you do have a point and are right🤣
Agreed, the best bet there seems like "something confusing" to turn them into Psyducks who might talk themselves into a call or raise.
Say ur scared money without saying ur scared money
This dude is a solid player
Pocket Aces hand was well played in my opinion. The nut flush hand I think you should bet around $700-$800 . Maybe you get 2 callers ? Probably being results oriented but I'm not sure someone with trips calls a shove that big.
Definitely the right play, you're looking to get called by two-pair hands that just got counterfeited, and if they raise you can be pretty sure they've got a 5 or 8.
Nice run Wolf congratulations 😅
Nice win!
😂 After Steven lost, he kept looking at the chips he lost to you. Poor Steven 😂
5:00 I think that overbet jam is only ever getting called by a full house or maybe a king high flush. Just screams jacks full with your 3 bet and c bet.
love your content!
I love watching these on mute to test my game...watching you makes me think a similar way. The troubling part is to always remember the time difference between these hands...some are an hour, 40 minutes, etc of continuous poker where only a select few hands are played so deep.
Dude, it’s The Fort. Not at all surprised. 😂😂😂
Congrats on getting in on ownership of a card room man! Yeah...on that AQ of diamonds I think I would have value bet there for like 3/4 pot....no guarantee either of them would call that, but IMO its better than coming over the top that big.
When you did your pot odds analysis against Margerite, you stated her most likely holdings were A-Q or K-Q (which is 32 combinatons), two pair (16 more combos of Q-10), or a set of 4’s (4 more combos). So you need to reduce your number of outs accordingly, meaning eliminating either the Ace or King, reducing by 3 outs, and then since 20 of the 52 most likely hand combos have us drawing to a jack or running cards to beat two pair, we should reduce again of a factor of 20/52 or 5/11.5....notice that when factoring in her top two pair and bottom set range, we get reduced to below even the straightforward 4 clean nut straight outs for application. This is because we are now considering times when her holding will also improve. When we do this, our calculation changes quite a bit, from 10 outs twice facing a 4-1 bet of $391 to win $1251 down to 3.5 outs twice, or 15% instead of 40%. Even if you don’t want to factor in the top two and bottom set range, I think it’s still critical in the spot to take away either the Ace or the King, as she called an open to $30 and a 3-bet to $200. Doing that we have an optimistic 7 outs, and it becomes a positive EV play again.
I think it is interesting though, to add in the entire range, and see if our instincts at the table are matching up with,, not just optimal play, butt reality! Thanks for sharing the hand, it was fun to look at. And nice session!
i was watching that very first hand and staring right at your opponent the whole time. the second he looked up to watch tv after checking the river i knew he was in Check-Call any bet mode hahaha. Pay attention to the tells Wolfgang!!!!
I would like to know what others thought about the bet sizing with an A Q high flush of diamonds at 4:57 in that situation. There were possible full house showing on the board and even a possible 4 of a kind. Especially since the pot was only $1,351 seemed like the bet was also too big.
The old man in the left back Is from Dmax 😂😂
Steven has me crying 😂😂😂 why would he shove with 2 Ks on the board with ace high when you called the turn
I would never leave that game.
Great win. More win 2024
Nice work, if you can find it
Good Morning Young Man
I am not going to lie. I'm pretty sure I would have Folded the K10 hand. You only beat a Bluff. Nice Hand, glad you called.
20:34 gyatttt damn
lmfaooo
Haha you'll be asking for chips every orbit even if you have 5k in front
@@joeyp3094 id be like baby give me 15k and your number please where would u like to go
Hey wolf how do you go about opening up a poker room ?
You didn't butcher that one with the shove, but the dealer did when he slid the winning chips back to you and they toppled all over your opponents chips!
For real. Why would you try to push a stack that high?! Just cut it in half dude
I was just there!!
Congrats on the owner ship wolfy
Brahhh jammed with a dead man’s hand 😩 I need to get to TX ASAP ong
Im Here third🙌🏽. Love your videos Wolfgang. Inspired me to take poker serious ❕💸
I'm wondering why you didn't sell the King high flush a little harder. Hitting a final club would have justified the slow roll to decent reraise.
I live like 10 min away from this place! Haven’t had courage to go play since I’m a rookie. Hopefully by this year I will start to show up 🤙🏽
the $1/2 game at The Fort is much friendlier for beginners! only a $300 buy in. hope to see you there some time 🙂
15:53 You chop with KJ
Let’s go, Marge!
What brand cards are these
Congrats on becoming an owner of The Fort! Now, can you get them to expand the parking to make room for more big vehicles, including commercial big rigs?
Yeah, build that out for the 0.1% (that's prob being generous) of customers that need big rig parking 😂
U been owning steven
nah you didnt butcher the AQ hand... but I would advise your dealers to not make castles with the chips in the pot anymore LOL
i think a value bet is best 3 ways on the AQ 🔹flush, all in only getting called by boats, small-medium bet what i wouldve done. but hey im just joe schmo just my opinion.
That is such a crazy amount of money to win in a a 1/3 game
i would slowed down and valued because you’re up against two and one of those could have held a boat already or rivered you. Maybe half or less and they come along instead of folds.
The hand at around 9:00 where he bets big on the river with aces with 4 to a straight doesn’t make sense to me I just figured he won’t get called by worse there, am I just tripping? Good on you for getting that value that’s wild, I just thought it was a hard spot to get value from.
He's asking the question "do you have a 5 or 8" rather than wait for his opponent to do the same because the board pairing the 5 means that he just counterfeit existing 2-pair hands, providing the ability for him to get paid off if that's what the opponent was holding prior to the river.
How do pocket aces beat the 2 pair? New to poker
Steven plays like my father in law
I just turned 21 a few months ago and am still playing 25 cent 50 cent games but I just won my biggest pot ever for $200 and for a broke college kid I was so excited!
The AQ all in was such a horrible play. Nothing calls that doesn’t beat you
Always jam like you don't have it, most often you won't have it.
Lol you gave some money to olc old laddy coffee
5:06 all in might be the worst move ive ever seen. imagine them trapping with a boat and ur screwed
dude's hands were shaking on that 15:00 hand as he raised 1k
I just want to come and play with Steven. Keep that fish thinking he’s a poker player
I got dealt a premium hand once. It was very exciting. That was a long time, and many sessions ago.
give up on your comedy dreams
@@slowery43 Give up on your dreams of relevancy. Or accomplishment. Or popularity. At this point, just resign yourself to a life of cat care.
It’s a wonder Wolfgang makes any money; those ‘bang’ explosions seem like a pretty big tell… 👀
😂😂
whoever edits wolfgangs videos watches minecraft hardcore lets plays
bruda, where is the place , country and city ? :)
Should've never shoved the river. Only better hands wouldve called you like full housees. I wouldve bet like 1/3 pot
Obviously the A8 Shove on the river was a bluff and not a value bet because he sized up the turn reraise to $1k with air in order to set up the nearly $2k pot size jam on the river... I believed he made up his mind on all-in regardless of the card even though the ace gave him show down value... but regardless great call!!!
With the dollar amount under people’s names, why don’t you have Lucas adjust the stack size as the hand goes on and they’ve bet/called so we see the eff stack for each street
we've talked about it. that would be a lovely feature of the videos in theory but extremely hard to implement in practice. the only possible way to do it and not have it take twice as long to edit would be for it to be automated in my compositing program, which is just not a coding ability I have in my arsenal at the moment
That Steven guy is loose cannon 😂
WOlgang i would like to see whe your tips the dealer , look its not that much happening.
When you run up a big win is it possible/desirable to take some chips off the table? I see players add on all the time, but never take any away, why?
Its not allowed. Going South as they call it is against most if not all poker room rules. At the Fort you can buy in for 1000 or 75% of the largest stack currently in play.
_Looking for all the poker pros in comments_
16:41 Your kicker never plays there. The boards Ace, Queen play.
How to be get So Lucky in SugaL😮 i mean Casino😮
Did you hear about the new texas bill to shut down poker room clubs? I'm scare. 😦
tf is the dealer stacking chips for... its fu ck in amazing why doesnt every dealer do that lol
Steven 🐟
Wolfgang e1 knows you check in between 2 players !!! U should mix this up bud
Dude goes all in with mid pair after calling 135 preflop? Na na na.....if that gift on 3rd street had won him the hand HE would have sucked out. He got exactly what he deserved
Yesterday played 1-1 at Cyprus. Bought in for 950 euro, cashed out 4400 euro. Texas sucks ))
What that toy you use
Great video as always.
But what’s the point of playing 1/3 when you starting with 1000 bbs lmfao
Steven is so bad, Wolfgang such a sun running nit
K9D fold you weren’t drawing to 7 outs only 5. 3D or 8D you would’ve gotten doubled up on. Villain makes straight flush. Good fold tho
"TOOT TOOT!!!"........I hear stephen coming 😂
KJ is a chop
So crazy on you last hand you were playing against Steven and George. How ironic my name is Steven George still waiting to play you here in az. Missed you last time you were here 😢
jamming AQ of diamonds was kind of weird tbh.. i would have bet 400 maybe 500 there but that’s just me
ooo i approve of that 625 river bet though
Mate Mate MATEEEE
You just CAN'T jam with "only" AQs here!
You will be called only by a full house, why did you that bro !
Kill the music behind.
3:44 why do you call this a nut flush? There is full house potential wouldn’t pocket Js or 3s be the nuts? I’m an amateur I might be wrong
Crazy being up 1k after a 8 hour session at my 1 3 is considered really good night. These guys are playing 1k pots like its nothing
What was going on ? a 10 dollar straddle ?
Me: how are they playing 6k pots at 1-3
Wolfgang: so yea we buy in to 1-3 for 3k each
Oh
That dealer was bad when he pushed the pot to you with the chips stacked high like that. Terrible dealer.
You only had 5 outs when you folded you diamond flush draw against the 5d7d because two of the remaining diamonds would have given him a str8 flush.
