the og 3 camellia maps were definitely a product of their time, people swung way differently, so the resets that would now be considered excessive and bad were normal. i started this game playing on psvr, so i eventaully got pretty decent at the og 3 before moving over to quest 2 in 2020, and now here i am playing ranked

@@flickzaer2133 well, i have played all the levels on exp+ before, and a lot of higher level players use lower jump distances to avoid getting overwhelmed. its just a skill you gain as you play higher level songs.
@stever9487 Not for top players, yes, but passing all of them without resting a second is kinda hard, at least for someone can hardly get close to SS at any of them. I could say even top players couldn't do their best if they play like be1a_ did.

imagine beat games made a fan pack where they paid a bunch of the top mappers to make quality 5 difficulty maps and made it an official thing, it could have maps ranging from linear speed, to midspeed tech, to acc, everything floating around the community atm. even better it would give psvr players a taste of what theyre missing

I remember playing a knockoff beat saber that had no restrictions on map making. There was one track that was all camellia and was 30 minutes. Played beat saber every day for two years and that shit was what broke me. The mapping wasn't bad it was just ghost level for the entirety of it.

@@wonder1227 You can see modifiers at left before him beginning to play the map, also he directly presses to play, so, not practice mode either.
I’ve been playing for nearly 3 years and I’ve still never beat Ghost. I’ve beat several custom beat maps that are significantly harder than it but I just cannot beat it for the life of me, I’ve only ever gotten past 1:49 in practice mode

Normal colours get kind of boring after a while, once I learned you could change every colour I wished, I changed them.

what helps me with that pattern is knowing that its mostly the same pattern with some minor variation, you can see apart from some parts where it breaks the pattern its mostly just an x pattern thats a little high or a little low at times
