I think it means that working in the fields/building something through peaceful means is much harder and even painful (even thought it's right thing to do) compared to violence. Destroying fields is easier then building them from a scratch. But I might be over thinking and he just lets out his frustration the only way he can without fighting back 😅😂

I just started reading the vinland saga manga and after the first volume I have to say its damn good

The only complaint I have against 2nd season is that the Thorfinn's facial structure felt abnormal. He had a sharp pointy jaw in 1st which turned dull and squared in the 2nd.

Nah everyone talks cringe in JP dub if you know Japanese. You're just being a weeb. I'm watching in JP bc I watched the first season in JP and switching would make immersion worse. Though english suits this Vikings anime better.
I don't know Japanese, that I will admit. I actually watched both English dubs and the Japanese one. Will also admit that some parts are better in English. Like Askeladd feels more cunning in most of the English dubs. But the 100 punch scene, that I liked Japanese the most. That's my opinion though, you can take it with grain of salt.
it was so fucking dumb. i hate it. a man doesnt just become a man sitting in his depression. Reality is that he should have been faced with the fact that he cant solve everything with violence but thre should have been many problems that he solves in all types of ways which makes him matured. He never let go of the hate for askalaed you can se that from expressions and he became pacifist by just his 1 enemy dying when all he knew was war? the second season was about some other random dude that didt mean much and some stupid royalty. They basically deleted the first seasons character with no real explanation and a time skip then took all hus screen time and made him into farmer by no real effort

The manga gets deeper as it goes on. It shows him the flaws of his 100% pacifist route. I just love the character development in this show. it is one of the best in any media I’ve watched.
It's an opinion that doesn't mean the author's kind of theme like assuming the author is gonna show every theme is 100% right they are flawed themes which is why the author expands on it

@@Zexrow23 i was extremely long winded and nothing really happened till the end. You also don't even get to see him become a pacifist it happened off screen. Season 1 had some of the best fight scenes I've seen and interesting character development. Would've been better if instead of a pacifist he decided to fight for something better than revenge but instead we get a whole season of farm simulator
