@@kiariamason899 extremely false. There was definitely bigs shooting 3s back in the day. Dont just say they didn't exist because u didnt know them. First off being more athletic doesnt make u more talented. Secondly he is no wear near the defender KG,Duncan, or hakeem was yet. He still has a level to go before he reaches level. All of them are far better rebounders and low post scorers as well. Hes a better high post scorer, and shooter for sure, and better ball handler than Tim. Hakeem and KG are debatable. Hakeem had fantastic ball handling. And there's a reason ADs main comparison was KG. Kg was playing the 3 for a lil bit in Minnesota because he was built like ADx and had a similar game. Good handle, could shoot it a bit, great rebounder. elite all around defender, and one of the best passing bigs ever. Something AD is yet to prove his can do.
@@TheIcemanthomas I didn't mean that there was literally none. I mean they weren't as skilled as they are today considering the game has evolved. Did a lot of those guys have better resumes than ad? Of course but are they more skilled? No. Because again the game has evolved.
@@kiariamason899 the game evolving doesnt mean anything in this context. U could drop anyone of those guys in named in the NBA today and nothing would change except they'd shoot more outside shots. All of their skills work in any era. All elite two way bigs, who are mobile, elite scorers, rebounders, passers, can step out and defend perimeter players, can faceup, or play back to the basket, and could step out for a mid range, or a 3 every now and then. Also great in pick in roll. U tell me Hakeem, KG, and Duncan dont fit the mold of today's nba short of shooting a few more jumpers a game. Now if I said someone like bob pettit or something then yeah. But kg Duncan or hakeem? I advise u to do some research.

KG (actually averaged 6), webber, divac, jokic, Horford, boogie, wilt (led the league once), lamar Odom, Draymond (yes technically he counts as a big), Barkley, bill russell and kareem. Plus their is tons of bigs who have averaged 4 as well like both Gasol bros, A. Sabonis, Duncan, etc.

Believe or not. Cousins presence in New Orleans has been eye opening for AD. The guy has been calm, and let people talk for him. But right now, it seems he wants to take control of his life. His increasing his handles...yeah, he wants to dictate the ball. Nothing like depending on the 'good will' of a point guard. You know how cousins plays, he doesn't waste his time screening off-the-ball, while waiting for an alley oops pass. Instead, he shoots, or drives in the paint when he wants to. He loves iso plays too. I thinks cousins presence in New Orleans has started a big brotherhood between the twin towers. Because now, AD wants to decide how to play, and where to play. AD wants to take full control of himself. He should remember that nba is a business, thus, if he's falling to other parties' batna, he may never reach his full potential. AD, just don't give a *****

A.D is for sure top 3 no doubt (since Kawhi was injured all last season and hasn't proven he can be his old self yet). But I wouldnt say he's "The Best" in the league lol. Just because LeBron is getting older doesn't mean he's still not the best. I still rank LeBron @ #1....but I could see KD or AD being #2 for sure. I think give it 1 or 2 more seasons, then AD will be the best by that time for sure, if he keeps progressing at his current rate :)
