    Bought one ... and couldn't agree more. Impressively cool. Only upgrades ... brushless steering servo, and Futaba radio.

    I definitely have one on the way. The 1.0 version was my first 1/5th scale over 10 years ago. And i always knew i wanted a better version of it! Thanks for sharing. Mine will be shared on my channel soon.! Excited!

    I picked one up couple weeks ago from my local hobby shop, I took a little more time on break in than I needed to but I'm ready to rip and it's running awesome, I agree with the low maintenance, but people should definitely check any screws, nuts and bolts, I've had some hardware come loose but that is it so far....it's is awesome 👍👍

    That is a nice looking buggy I really like the yellow theme on it. I might have to pick one of these up. I’ve got a Losi 5B but it is brushless electric converted. It’s fun but the run times are short and the power is explosive. This new buggy here would be a great one to take out for a day of fun driving in the summer. 1 hour run time is awsome and that 32cc is a great upgrade. I’m willing to sell one of my smaller electric cars to get into one of these. Your right it will be a long term reliable car, if not messed with too much one could expect it to last years with minimal issue. People think that 1/5 gas like this is a lot of upkeep, but as you mentioned it’s the Zenoah and all issues addressed from previous dbxl, this is unbelievable value for money in a 1/5.

      That is how I feel.
      A 6S Kraton electric with blown up wheels and back flips off the line is not how a real car drives. Too much torque. Gas is more linear and stable under power.

      @@ParkflyersRC agreed. You can even compare it the the DBXL E and that thing looks so ridiculous with the ballooning front tires.

    This is still a petrol RC . Its never be such strong and powerfull as electric version…

      @ian3166 Před 2 lety +4

      Yes, and people who buy these are ok with that. Some people don't just want to be the fastest thing.

      you talk nonsense, Just because an RC is electric does not make it more durable than a gas/nitro lol! you stick to your electric buzzing sound, while the rest of us listen to the roaring sound & smell of 2-stroke ;)

    • @CH-RC
      @CH-RC Před rokem +1

      That's exactly the point ... much more realistic and fun. The sound is exciting and adds to the feeling of performance, speed and realism, electric doesn't have the smell, nor the more realistic / manageable torque curve and speeds especially for off-road use. You don't see any electric Baja buggies in 1:1 scale do you? And even there, the higher the horsepower doesn't always translate to better performance on dirt. Not to mention ... almost an hour of runtime, then just refill your tank, and run for another hour. No need to re-charge any batteries, as the 4,000Mah receiver pack will run for at least 3 hours of continuous run time.
