The problem with this is that the ups are designed to last a certain time, usually 15 to 30 minutes, although there are some that do not have this limitation, the problem now is that passing a continuous current through the transformer that the ups bring, makes it overheats and burns, like the mosfets since they were not intended for that use
Would using a cooling solution help?
@@CerebralChuckles Im attempting this very solution. I cut open the side casing (nearly cut one of the battery wires) then installed a fan over the opening with a mesh filter. It doesnt smell of burning metal anymore but I unfortunately havent tested it at length yet.

It is recommended to use an alternating energy system, or an inverter that is manufactured to have continuous use and exists from 200w to 50Kw, and they are really economical, well depending on the need and the batteries.

I have a nice APC 1500. I want to extend it to run 1200 watt LED lights (2X600W each) for 8 hours. We have power outages here and I don't want to disrupt my plants veg cycle of 18 hours on, 6 hours off. Or their flowering cycle of 12 hours on, 12 hours off. Most brown outs last no more than 8 hours when they do occur. I have access to a LOT of UPS batteries. Can I just daisy chain more of them together?

If you add big battery then ups will be come hot because there is no colliing fan. And also I add 3 batteries with my ups. But after 5 minute auto off ups. If I connect 1battery. In 1 battery also auto off after 5 minutes.

It won't extend time bro. It was totalled programmed for 10-15min that's it. If you replaced 150ah batt also you will get same backup time as you are getting now

+Rammohan Sharma yes same batteries necessary, If the second battery (the lower voltage one) is a rechargeable, then it will be charged by the first one, again until the two have the same voltage. In this case the end voltage will be intermediate between the two starting voltages. This current may damage one or both of the batteries. Result 7Ah battery charged quicker than 9 Ah battery so the over charging will degrade the batteries life.
+green byte For good battery life maintaing the battery voltage should not exceed 13.8 volts for long periods and 14.4 volts for short periods (8 hours maximum).

If both battery are in parallel then the fully charged battery will charge the uncharged battery. It will not explode

No definitely not because 600VA is the standard design and in this video, he is increasing the time duration of his 600VA Inverter, to increase load its better to switch over 1.1KVA UPS

I think battery voltage issue ...or some kind of over charge issue or there may be some sensor or IC that realises some odd and turns it off ...also when a battery is fully charged its voltage is some what increased as nominated.
In my house if I use 12 volt 9 watt bulb directly from ups battery back up is more, if I use 220 volt 9 watt bulb with same battery UPS it will give less time backup nearly 3:1 difference, why it is like so.

A UPS does not supply enough amperage to hook it directly up to a house. The refrigerator, stove, etc. all pull too many amps for the UPS. Depending on the size of the house and the type of lights, just the lights in a house may pull too many amps for the UPS to be effective.

Dude, I installed 2pieces 30AH batteries at 1200VA ups. The problem is I loaded up to 300 watts, it doesn't back up for long time, when the power goes out. It turns off after 10 minutes. Even the transformer and circuit board of the ups gets so hot.

In series, the battery will stay at the same current, so won't add up.
But, 30 AH for 300 watts, it is normal to work for only 10 minutes.
My batery works at 7 amps/h and only last 2 minutes under 300 watts load. So 10 minutes is actualy good.
About the heat, it is normal to temps go high too. So, if you can, put a small fan in it.

All batteries are connected in parallel...
If connected in series, the voltage will add up and destroy the electronic circuit. If connected in parallel, the voltage stays as it is, but the current adds up. Again, during charging, the circuit and transformer heats up. so, better to use an external source to charge those batteries. Also during input power outage, the discharge happens and the circuit and transformer heats up, and hence a good fan is required to cool the same.

What's the problem when ups showing over load but battery is full charged
Overload means you are overloading your UPS, you drawing (or want to draw) power from you UPS that it can't support. For example you browsing the internet its OK, but when you playing a AAA game on max setting, so your CPU and GPU drawing a lot of watts what your UPS cant handle, so you overloading your system, it even can shout down itself. Use a Power Meter to see, when it's occurs, probably when you drawing power over your limits.
