How cool is it that a Saints vs Leigh game, we had to fight every minute for - Leigh, clearly the team of the season for me. Has to be a long time since a team have come into the top tier, and been so competitive. I don't remember the last time. Great game; glad to have got the points from this one, and keep the pressure on top spot. Our last try could have gone either way though - not sure I would have ruled that as a ball steal, but it wasn't clear cut, and was open to the video ref's interpretation. Some go for you, some don't.
They should have shown the Leigh officials harassing the officials going down the tunnel at half time. Disgraceful.
They should have shown Kendall putting his saints shirt on too. Bent bastard.
How on earth was kendall biased towards st helens?
@@dang6092 we should of had a penalty try Hardaker took out Davies 😡
@@adamfairclough7164 Kendall does it all the time, he's the most bent bastard in the official's colours. Only prick any worse is thaler, but he's just outright stupid.
@@WellensOut kr should have gotten a penalty try and Leigh would be runner ups. Deal with it.
Sour Leigh fans on here!😂
Funny how they don’t show the disallowed tries😂
What’s funny about it?
A bit like an unawarded penalty try during Wembley that would have changed the outcome of the game, lol.
Anyone watching rugby league or Saints for the first time wouldn't think you had to pass the ball backwards, or tackle below the neck, or get back 10 meters at the ptb 🤷
I never understand it when spectators call the referees 'bent. Think about it - why would Kendall want Saints to win? Even if he did, do you think he would risk his job to help a side he otherwise has nothing to do with, win a game? Especially when there are thousands of people at the ground watching him, and tens of thousands watching it on TV, via multiple super-slow motion cameras around the ground. Factor in also, that many of the decisions would have been referred to the video ref, so you'd have to have both of them dishonestly conspiring to fix the game, despite all of the checks and balances I just mentioned. Not to mention the other line judges who would also need to be in on it. And for what? You could only suggest this was for money - no one's seriously going to corrupt the reffing of the game, just because they happen to really like that team! So, you'd be arguing criminal fraud, not just a 'bent official'! They would risk doing time for this. And sure, maybe that happens once every blue moon - perhaps there are rare examples of it. But is that what's happening every time a team lose, and supporters cry 'bent ref'? Is this really what happens in rugby league, where there's so little in terms of money at stake? Do these so-called supporters really believe that there's criminal fraudsters conspiring against their team, because "all the refs hate X [insert the latest disgruntled team of your choosing]. Alternatively, if you think it's just incompetence, as opposed to corruption, then your opinion is only valid when you've refereed a game yourself - not a pub game either - a real super league game, with all the pace and speed of play that comes with it, and need for quick judgement and decision-making. When you can do better, based on real experience, not armchair refereeing, then I'll take your comments with a bit more credibility. Until then... it's just a game, and you just lost. Just enjoy the sport. I'm not aiming this at Leigh supporters (though there's a few on here with this attitude), but to anyone who wants to blame the referee for having lost. Have a think about what it would actually take, and who would actually risk the consequences. Then realise... the other just team just won that one. No big conspiracy.
it's the lack of consistency from the refs which is the real bugbare the first saints try came off the back of a forward pass and the ref was right next to it the 6 again rule constantly used as leveling tool for teams like saints. And wigan etc I'm a hull kr season ticket holder and reguly see the inconsistencys In the professional and amature game it has too get better
@@davidstorey2368 You didn't ask yourself any of the questions I asked you. Why would they do this - for what gain? If for money, why would they take this risk under this level of scrutiny? It's like trying to rob a bank in broad daylight, except this bank has about 25 quid and few sweet wrappers, which you'll do time for if you get caught! You claim it's a 'levelling tool' in favour of Saints, Wigan, etc, which implies this is an agreement, amongst the refs and governing body to corrupt the game and advantage certain sides. WHY? It's GREAT for the game when the likes of Leigh start doing better. Why would they jeopardise this?. This would be criminal fraud. Who do you think is risking this, and to what end? Could it just be that, I dunno, you lost? You need to apply Occam's razor and accept the most parsimonious explanation, or come up with SIGNIFICANTLY more evidence than 'levelling tool', otherwise, you risk looking like a conspiracy fool. Think carefully what you're implying when you allege this sort of cheating, and ask yourself, would it make any sense of this to happen, or would it be more likely that your interepretation, which is based on your watching the game in the stands or on TV, and by definition as a fan have a partisan bias, might differ from that of the ref, who is paid to be neutral and objective, would lose his career, livelihood and liberty if caught, is an expert in the sport and the rules, and is stood right there! Think about it.
I get your point………..BUT do you remember the magic weekends over the years……full of controversy even with video reply’s. In fact most weren’t even controversial JUST OUT RIGHT INCOMPETENCE from the officials.
The arrogance of the RFL to continually have officials from the same town as one team baffles me. They have options for this not to occur, they don’t help themselves.
@@cantthinkofagoodun1 Yes, I agree with not having the refs from the same town - the perception of fairness is just important as the reality. Steve Ganson kicked up a fuss about this when Saints were in lots of finals, and I think they changed it then, if I remember correctly? As for the incompetence in finals, sure, we can all point fingers, but that's too easy. They're human, and they'll make human mistakes. Point 60,000 partisan pairs of eyes at them, each with a loud mouth, and 20 cameras to pick up every possible angle, and sure, under that pressure, they'll make mistakes. I don't know what job you do, but imagine that doing your job with that kind of pressure, with that many people watching you do it, shouting at you, and singing songs questioning your parentage!! You'd probably screw up a few times too! Add to the fact that your decisions, you'll need to make those while running around for 80 minutes, keeping up with super-fit athletes, and they will be taken in split-second action. How's your decision-making skills now? Now add to the mixture that thousands of people have put money on the outcome of the immediate decisions you make in your job going one way or the other. Feeling the pressure yet? The fact that you have to go back to "over the years" is testament to the fact that week in, week out, they do a pretty amazing, under-appreciated job, and have to put up with mindless idiots questioning their whether their actions are competent, legitimate or even legal! I've seen it from refs at school games, to the top tier - insane! As I said, I'll only give credibility to people complaining who have actually had the courage to have done that job. Everyone else should just get on with enjoying the support, for which without the refs, there would be no game.
I don't need to answer your questions that you didn't even ask me personally I don't think refs are throwing games or taking bungs etc I'm not the type of person who acuses without evidence I don't think the refs in super league are corrupt but they are of a poor poor standered and poor level of incompetence they most certainly are which saints benifted from last night
Forward pass for Makinson not mentioned, Leigh's winning try not shown. Kendall maybe as well have had a Saints shirt on the corrupt bent bastard.
What winning try u didn’t win?
@@michaelallen7329 wound have been a winning try but for a bent official.
@@dang6092 when ur playing clearly touched the ball from the pass which is a knock on and that try would make it 16-16 aswell so
@@michaelallen7329 didn't clearly' touch it though did he. Forward pass for Makinson was a yard in front ffs 🤣. That bent it was comical.
How on earth was kendall bent towards st helens. Leigh did multiple high tackles and forward passes he didnt pull up? The "try" your claiming a leigh player clearly touched it making it a knock on against leigh! Sour grapes
Excellent officiating, top quality game, fair result. Enjoyed.
Roby was fantastic last night still got another 10 years left in him
Roby in That loose forward role 😮💨😮💨
Bit of a disadvantage fot leigh playing against 14 men ... they got robbed
