- This is a live vocal recital of Raag Chandrakauns by Shruti Bujarbaruah at the prestigious ‘Dover lane Music Conference’ Kolkata. Shruti started her recital with a Khyal set in Jhaptal Madhyalay - 'Eri Maai Kaun Bakhane', followed by a drut Bandish 'Ri mori muraki kalayi' set in tritaal. Both the bandish-s are composed by her dadaguru Late Pt. Vasantrao Deshpande ji. After Raag Chandrakauns, she presented Raag Hansadhwani which is available in this channel. Do check that out too. Namashkar 🙏 I am disciple of Pt. Vijay Koparkar (Disciple of Pt. Vasantrao Deshpande & Jitendra Abhisheki) & Vid Pratima Tilak (Jaypur Gharana) . I don't represent any specific gharana. I have taalim of Banaras gharana from my Father, little touch of Gwalior Gharana too.

Bujarbaruah is correct .It is an Assamese surname.
